Sister name to go with 3 brothers!

What girl names go with Big Brothers [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] and [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. Must be a saint name. We like [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] for the middle name. [name_f]Emma[/name_f] has always been my favorite girl name, but it is SO popular. I can’t find anything I think is prettier. I think it is probably THE name but maybe there is something I am missing☺️Thank you!

Emma is beautiful! It’s popular for a reason, certainly. I think if you’re calling it THE name, then you should absolutely use what you love and not let that get in the way!

[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] would fit nicely.

Perhaps [name_f]Gemma[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] to avoid popularity?

Emma is overwhelmingly popular and has been for over two decades. It’s unfortunately part of the package deal if you choose the name. Although you could frame it as being an incredibly well-loved name.

There have already been a lot of good suggestions. From the Patron Saints I haven’t seen mentioned, there’s also [name_f]Fina[/name_f], [name_f]Lillian[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Rose[/name_f]. All beautiful names without the ubiquity [name_f]Emma[/name_f] has. I think it’s worth mentioning [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Rachel[/name_f] and [name_f]Rebecca[/name_f] too. They were once popular choices a couple decades ago but they’re at much lower levels now, especially the latter two. I think they would fit really well with your family.

Some other saint names I think would suit your style are [name_u]Vivian[/name_u], [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f], [name_f]Philippa[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f], [name_f]Gabriella[/name_f] and [name_f]Hannah[/name_f].

Emma is very pretty.
You could always double-barrel it:
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] -[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] -[name_f]Kate[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]-[name_f]Mae[/name_f]
[name_f]Emma[/name_f]-[name_f]Rose[/name_f]

Thank you! I am blown away by all the effort that you and others have put in to helping a stranger☺️Several of these are beautiful. I have also really loved [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] for a long time. So much so, that when we named our son [name_m]Joseph[/name_m] I knew this meant unfortunately we wouldn’t have a [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]. Maybe as a middle name down the road if we aren’t finished after 4! Thank you again!

If you think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is to popular then you could always choose something else and her nickname be [name_f]Emma[/name_f]
Some examples are
[name_f]Emmeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Emmaline[/name_f]
Emmelina
[name_f]Emmalina[/name_f]
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Emelina[/name_f]
[name_f]Emily[/name_f]
[name_u]Emory[/name_u]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]
[name_u]Emerson[/name_u]
[name_f]Emmie[/name_f]
[name_f]Emberly[/name_f]
[name_u]Ember[/name_u]

I personally thing that [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f], [name_f]Emmaline[/name_f], Emmelina, and [name_f]Emmalina[/name_f]. Would work with [name_m]Anthony[/name_m], [name_m]Joseph[/name_m], and [name_u]Michael[/name_u]. And would put a twist on [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. [name_m]Just[/name_m] like I know a few Emilys that go by [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. As long as the name starts or contains [name_f]Em[/name_f] in it you should be able to use the nickname [name_f]Emma[/name_f] for a less popular name choice.

But I also think that [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is an amazing name and I personally love it

I think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] is more than usable, I don’t think it’s any more popular than your boys’ names.

I love your boy names! Very classic and strong. Have you considered using [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] as a first name? It seems to fit perfectly with your boy names, as it’s similar in length and style as well as a classic (like [name_f]Emma[/name_f]) and a saint. If you haven’t ruled it out I think it would be really a perfect choice.

Others I think work well:
[name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Cecilia[/name_f]
[name_f]Christina[/name_f]
[name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] - another top choice for your set
[name_f]Grace[/name_f]
[name_u]Louise[/name_u] - I love this one!
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f]
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Mary[/name_f]
[name_f]Victoria[/name_f] - another I think goes really well

Thank you! We do love [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] but our last name is long and begins with the same sound. It seems like a bit of a mouthful to me (we don’t use nicknames) when [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and Last Name go together, but for some reason when it’s a middle name combined with a shorter first name (like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] Last Name) I love it.

[name_f]Emma[/name_f] would fit well with her brothers’ names. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t let popularity stand in your way if it is THE NAME. Otherwise, one of these may work:

A: [name_f]Adele[/name_f], [name_f]Adela[/name_f], [name_f]Alena[/name_f], [name_f]Angela[/name_f], [name_u]Anne[/name_u], [name_f]Asella[/name_f], [name_f]Ava[/name_f]

E: [name_f]Ebba[/name_f], [name_f]Eva[/name_f]
F: [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Fara[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
G: [name_f]Gwen[/name_f]
I: [name_f]Ia[/name_f], [name_f]Imma[/name_f], [name_f]Inez[/name_f], [name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
J: [name_f]Jane[/name_f], [name_f]Julia[/name_f]
L: [name_f]Laura[/name_f], [name_f]Lea[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]
M: [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Maura[/name_f], [name_f]Mella[/name_f]
P: [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f]
R: [name_f]Rita[/name_f], [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]
T: [name_f]Thea[/name_f]
Z: [name_f]Zita[/name_f]

Dang I assumed you had a reason for ruling it out! That’s a shame. [name_f]My[/name_f] name is actually [name_f]Catherine[/name_f] and I’ve always gone by my full name, so I love that you don’t use nicknames. Have you had any luck in choosing a first?
