[name_m]Hi[/name_m] we are expecting #2 in [name_f]July[/name_f] 214, we have a boys name picked but are still having troubling with girls ![]()
Big sister is [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]. [name_f]Francesca[/name_f] is after her late Great Grandad [name_m]Frank[/name_m]. This time we may use [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] or a form of it as a middle. We are looking for something alternative, quirky, spunky and fun- we live in NZ.
Some I like which hubby doesn’t are [name_f]Astrid[/name_f]/[name_f]Astra[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Gaia[/name_f], [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u] (too close), [name_f]Calliope[/name_f], [name_f]Cassia[/name_f], [name_m]Pascal[/name_m] & [name_f]Venus[/name_f].
I love all those names on your list, especially [name_m]Pascal[/name_m], [name_f]Cassia[/name_f] and [name_f]Gaia[/name_f]. Here are some other names I think of as being in the same ‘category’ and that I think would fit well in a sibset with [name_f]Juno[/name_f] (which is a beautiful name!) and middle name [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lucia[/name_f]
[name_f]Carina[/name_f]
[name_f]Petra[/name_f]
[name_f]Signe[/name_f]
[name_u]Adair[/name_u]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Kajsa[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaisa[/name_f] (both pronounced [name_u]Kye[/name_u]-sa)
Good luck!
You have an eloquent taste in names, I adore [name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_f]Francesca[/name_f]. Of the names you like, I’m definitely most sad that your husband dislikes [name_f]Gaia[/name_f]. I have both [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] on my first names-list and my [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] combination is [name_f]Gaia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] (Undómiel) so I’m totally biased. [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] sounds so nice with [name_f]Gaia[/name_f]. I like how it levels it up a little. I saw the title of this thread and I was actually gonna suggest [name_f]Gaia[/name_f]
So boo for that not be useable. [name_f]Astrid[/name_f] would also have been perfect.
[name_f]Aira[/name_f]
[name_f]Aliena[/name_f] (pronounced [name_m]AH[/name_m]-lee-enna, as in [name_f]Aliena[/name_f] from Pillars of the [name_f]Earth[/name_f])
[name_u]Alva[/name_u]
[name_f]Avalon[/name_f]
[name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Elanor[/name_f]
Freyja
Galadriel (probably a bit too out there, but I just said it aloud with [name_f]Juno[/name_f] and they sounded smashing together)
Gróa
[name_u]Hero[/name_u]
[name_f]Hestia[/name_f]
[name_f]Ingrid[/name_f]
[name_f]Isis[/name_f]
[name_f]Noor[/name_f]
[name_u]Romy[/name_u]
[name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]
Sága
Svea
[name_u]Vega[/name_u]
[name_f]Vesta[/name_f]

You can always stick to an ancient goddess theme for the first name:

[name_u]Artemis[/name_u]
[name_f]Hestia[/name_f]
Bellona
[name_f]Pomona[/name_f]
