I love playing around with names, I just find it so exhilarating as well as calming if that makes sense. I have been loving the sister set of…
[name_u]Charley[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
Meaning: free woman, rose
[name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f]
Meaning: song of happiness, pearl
[name_u]Esme[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]
Meaning: esteemed and beloved, goddess
[name_u]Indie[/name_u] [name_f]Faith[/name_f]
Meaning: Independent, trust and devotion
What do you think of this name set? The only thing I don’t know about is, is it weird to spell [name_u]Charley[/name_u] like [name_f]Charle[/name_f] or not? As all the names end in E and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is just not a name I really like!
Thanks
[name_u]Charlie[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] seems like the perfect solution!!
Charlie/ey [name_f]Rose[/name_f] is sweet and sparky; [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] is elegant and fun; [name_u]Esme[/name_u] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] is charming and bright; [name_u]Indie[/name_u] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is fresh and cheerful!
As a sibset they work - maybe [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] feels a bit formal/long? Plus, [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] + [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] are essentially variants of each other. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f]? Still, it doesn’t not go
[name_f]Maisie[/name_f] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] definitely a bit better because [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] being longer and not ending in a long E sound like the others makes it stand out and its very matchy with [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] but other than that I really like the set.
I cannot get behind [name_u]Charlie[/name_u] and [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] as sisters! Both are direct descendants of “Charles.”
However… these are lovely! I also adore the fact that they all end in silent ‘e’. [name_u]Charlie[/name_u], [name_f]Maisie[/name_f], [name_u]Esme[/name_u], and [name_u]Indie[/name_u] are beautiful—my favorite set all-around.
