Sister to Abel Jacob!

I got great feedback on my post to name my son and my friend [name_u]Laney[/name_u] wanted to see if this lovely community could help name her daughter! Currently, she has three favorite names, but she’s open to new names and opinions on the ones she already has to hopefully come out with one! Her last name is Trichieri (pronounced tree-chee-ary) if that helps any.

Right now, possible names are:
[name_f]Katryna[/name_f] “[name_f]Kat[/name_f]”/“[name_f]Trina[/name_f]” [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] Trichieri-In my opinion, this is too much of a mouthful. Possibly a shorter middle name may help.
[name_f]Raine[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] Trichieri-This one is a lot easier to say, but she’s open to a new middle name.
[name_f]Kaileah[/name_f] “[name_u]Kai[/name_u]”/“[name_f]Leah[/name_f]” [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Trichieri-She is open to new spellings of [name_f]Kaileah[/name_f] as this may be mispronounced often. (Pronounced ky-lee-uh)

Thanks in advance!

Is [name_f]Kaileah[/name_f] pronounced “kay-lee”? If so, I woud go with a more traditional spelling or people will mispronounce it constantly. The “ai” combo in the beginning of the name is confusing. Also “[name_f]Leah[/name_f]” is often pronounced “lee-uh” so that could be confusing too. You could spell it [name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f], [name_f]Kaylee[/name_f] or [name_f]Kaylie[/name_f]. I would echo this with [name_f]Katryna[/name_f]. Go with something more recognizable like [name_f]Katrina[/name_f]. Not only does this make more sense with the nickname [name_f]Trina[/name_f], but it will age better than the “y” version which looks very “of the moment” but may not be en vogue in another 10 years. [name_f]Raine[/name_f] is not my style personally, but it would make a great middle name.

Having said all that about her current list, my advice would be to go with a more traditional name to match the style of [name_m]Abel[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m].

The following are also biblical names that would also sound fresh and timeless. I paired them with the middle names she liked above.
[name_f]Hannah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn Anna
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_f]Noemi[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] nn Emmie
[name_f]Sarai[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn Zuzu

The following are other literary names from [name_m]Shakespeare[/name_m] and various other novels:
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] nn Bea, Tris or Trixie
[name_f]Briar[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]
[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] nn Cammie, Millie, Mila
[name_f]Celia[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] nn Cece, Celie (cee-lee)
[name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn Elle, Ellie, Lola
[name_f]Isolde[/name_f] Elsabet nn Izzie
[name_f]Luciana[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn Lucia, Lucy, Ana
[name_f]Marina[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn Mara, Rina
[name_f]Rosaline[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f], Rose, Lina (leena)
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]

This list is of vintage names that are more exotic and underused but still have classic roots.
[name_f]Araminta[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nickname [name_u]Ari[/name_u], [name_f]Minty[/name_f], [name_f]Mindy[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurelia[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f]
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn [name_u]Rory[/name_u], [name_f]Rora[/name_f]
[name_f]Guinevere[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Gwen[/name_f], [name_f]Vera[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacinta[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] (changed [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] to avoid same ending sound)
[name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Livie[/name_f], [name_u]Vinnie[/name_u]
[name_f]Leilani[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] nn Leili (lay-lee), [name_f]Lani[/name_f], [name_f]Lana[/name_f]
[name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
[name_f]Philomena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] nn [name_f]Lola[/name_f]
[name_f]Seraphina[/name_f] [name_f]Raine[/name_f] nn [name_f]Sera[/name_f], Phina

This last list is more current names and trendier names. With the non traditional spellings and the name [name_f]Raine[/name_f], I thought that might be a route she’d like to go. [name_m]Just[/name_m] as long as it doesn’t bother her that the name isn’t a classic like [name_m]Abel[/name_m] [name_m]Jacob[/name_m].
[name_f]Cadence[/name_f]
[name_f]Calla[/name_f]
[name_f]Caprice[/name_f]
Carrington
[name_u]Eden[/name_u]
[name_m]Kensington[/name_m]
[name_m]Kerrigan[/name_m]
[name_f]Liberty[/name_f]
[name_u]Paisley[/name_u]
[name_u]Piper[/name_u]
[name_u]Raven[/name_u]
[name_f]Terra[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]
[name_f]Zinnia[/name_f]

I would spell [name_f]Katrina[/name_f] this was especially if she might use [name_f]Trina[/name_f] as the nn. But I don’t think it’s a good flow with her last name since both have the “tri” sound. [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] as a first name would be pretty!

  • [name_f]Josephine[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] Trichieri: [name_m]Jose[/name_m], [name_u]Jo[/name_u], [name_u]Jojo[/name_u], Sephie
  • [name_f]Katya[/name_f] [name_u]Jo[/name_u]/[name_f]Josette[/name_f] Trichieri: [name_f]Kat[/name_f], [name_f]Katy[/name_f] (said kaht-tee-ah)

[name_f]Raine[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is not very pretty in my opinion.
What about…
[name_f]Raina[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f] Trichieri

[name_f]Kaileah[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] Trichieri is the one with the best flow.
Spelling wise…what about [name_f]Kyleah[/name_f]/[name_f]Kylia[/name_f]? I think more people would get the “kai” sound with those spellings.
