Hello Berries,
We’re an American family living in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u] and expecting a baby girl in [name_f]May[/name_f]. Our [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Zofia[/name_f] ([name_f]Zofia[/name_f] as homage to my Polish heritage) is 5 years old. Here are my top names (mostly [name_u]America[/name_u]-friendly) but we’re open to Scandinavian or Norse names too… Appreciate your feedback to this list or new ideas! (also our last name if [name_m]Allen[/name_m]):
[name_f]Liv[/name_f] is my front-runner! So naturally, I love [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Liv[/name_f]. I also love [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Juno[/name_f], [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u], and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f].
My favourites on your list are [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Liv[/name_f], [name_f]Sanna[/name_f], [name_f]Cassia[/name_f], and [name_f]Juno[/name_f].
I would also suggest [name_f]Britta[/name_f] and [name_f]Eleni[/name_f].
Thanks for your feedback, nice to know how some names resonate with everyone. As you can see I’m trying to stay away from the most popular names, do any of the ones you like seem too trendy or candidates to the be the next ‘[name_f]Ava[/name_f]’ (albeit I love the name)?
I also like [name_f]Zoe[/name_f].
[name_f]Eleni[/name_f] always makes me think of this one Greek singer from the 80s, so probably a no, haha:
I love [name_f]Tess[/name_f], [name_f]Eve[/name_f] and [name_f]Willow[/name_f]
I don’t think any of your names will be the next [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. [name_f]Willow[/name_f] i think could continue to gain popularity because it has been used by a few celebs. Also [name_f]Willow[/name_f] has risen a lot in popularity over the last few years. Then if [name_f]Willow[/name_f] [name_m]Smith[/name_m]'s career takes off it could increase more. I still think [name_f]Willow[/name_f] is a little to quirky (in a good way) to be the next [name_f]Ava[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Tess[/name_f] and [name_f]Eve[/name_f] are classics that have had more steady popularity through the years.
My first thought was [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], but it wouldn’t work with your last name. Other suggestions are: [name_f]Siri[/name_f], [name_f]Evelina[/name_f], [name_f]Tove[/name_f] and [name_f]Juni[/name_f] ([name_f]Juni[/name_f] is the Swedish name of the month [name_u]June[/name_u]). They are names that are knowledgeable, but not overused here in [name_u]Sweden[/name_u].
