I’m guessing you’re about half way through your pregnancy – if that’s the case, you still have plenty of time for something to grow on you and feel good about.
[name_f][/name_f]We only started discussing names at this point and while we agreed on very little, we eventually had a list of ten names. At various points, nothing felt right, but as we approached our son’s due date, things became clearer.
[name_f][/name_f]I prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f] for you. It complements the style of your daughters’ names and adds distinctive sounds. [name_f]Lettie[/name_f] would make a sweet, vintage nickname in keeping with [name_f]Elsie[/name_f] and [name_f]Goldie[/name_f], should you want one.
[name_f][/name_f][name_f]Maisie[/name_f] has a youthful sound, I agree, though it’s not in any way inappropriate as a full name. Still, it sounds like this concern is more bothersome than the popularity of [name_f]Violet[/name_f], so another reason I’d place it lower.
[name_f][/name_f]If you’ve seen all the names, then I’d suggest lowering the threshold for what goes on your list. Put any names you both like on the list and let them percolate for a while. Your feelings may shift over time and surprise you.
