Sister to Everett

Hello all! My current absolute favorite for a boy is [name_u]Everett[/name_u]. I’m having trouble finding a girl name that I love as much. Things I love about [name_u]Everett[/name_u]:

  • Not in top 100, though I’m not totally against a top 100 name.
  • It was most popular in the 1900’s-1910’s, so it has some history. I prefer well-established names to “newer” names.
  • Easy to say/spell, and no variant spellings. I guess someone could drop off the second T, but I think it would be rare.
  • I don’t hate any of the nicknames. I’m not a nickname-y person anyway, but if people called him E, Ev, or Rett, I could deal with it.

I like [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], but I’m hesitant due to the fact that the variant [name_f]Camila[/name_f] is much more popular, which could lead to pronunciation and/or spelling issues. I’m also not in love with the nickname [name_f]Millie[/name_f].

I would prefer 3 syllables, but 1 syllable would be ok too. Last name sounds like [name_m]Ransom[/name_m] (haha). If it matters, middle name would likely be [name_f]Sue[/name_f]/[name_f]Susan[/name_f]/[name_f]Susanna[/name_f] depending on syllables of first name.

So, any ideas?? Thanks in advance!!

I love [name_f]Camilla[/name_f], it’s so beautiful.

Some other names:
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Cicely[/name_f]

[name_f]Letitia[/name_f]
[name_u]Marion[/name_u]
[name_f]Millicent[/name_f]
[name_f]Miranda[/name_f]

[name_f]Regina[/name_f]
[name_f]Selina[/name_f]
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Theresa[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]

[name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] would be my favorite, with a second choice being [name_f]Camilla[/name_f] [name_f]Susan[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Camila[/name_f] is popular with Spanish speaking families, so depending on where you live, this may or may not cause confusion.
