Hi! We’re expecting a little girl in 5 weeks and have a shortlist of names we love - compiled over many years - but aren’t quite sure which is best yet. I’m French and I live with my British husband and 4yo son Félix in London. We want a first name that works in both languages, that people can easily recognise and spell (our surnames are quite complicated!), and that goes nicely with her brother’s name too.
What do you think of the names, and why?
Thanks in advance!

[name_f]Amélie[/name_f] seems perfect with [name_m]Felix[/name_m]. [name_f]My[/name_f] next choice would be [name_f]Lily[/name_f].

[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] is perfect - bright, light and lovely

I voted for [name_f]Amélie[/name_f] but [name_f]Maya[/name_f] would be my next choice!

[name_f]Amelie[/name_f] followed by [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] :heartpulse:

Same!

[name_m]Félix[/name_m] and [name_f]Amélie[/name_f] together sound perfect!!

Felix and Amelie have that elegant, upper crust feel, while Zoe and Felix are a vibrant and artistic set. Lily is a bit too close to Felix (and if you really like to, you could use it as a nickname - with Millie - for Amelie. Maya doesn’t go with Felix in my mind, Maya is more beachy boho).

I love [name_f]Amélie[/name_f] and [name_f]Maya[/name_f]. I think they both flow well but it depends on whether you want the name tying in with [name_m]Félix[/name_m] with the é or separate with [name_f]Maya[/name_f].
