Honestly I’ve been crushing on [name_u]Fern[/name_u] so much she’s truly absolutely stunning such a sweet nature name that feels understated, outdoorsy and peaceful. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_u]Fern[/name_u] are gorgeous together.
I also like [name_f]Violet[/name_f], [name_u]Vivian[/name_u] & [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
With [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], my favourites would be:
[name_f]Willa[/name_f] - it has a lively, bright feel, a touch of vintage while also feeling fresh and stylish and that works well with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]
[name_u]Fern[/name_u] - gentle, earthy but strong too; with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] it gives outdoorsy, magical, in-touch-with-nature vibes
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - starry and bright but approachable and grounded too. Together with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], they have a contemporary and grounded feel, while still having kick, flair and magic.
[name_f]Tess[/name_f] - warm, friendly and gentle but with a slightly rugged and earthy feel. [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] can have the same feel when placed alongside this
Tess-Maeve & [name_f]Tess[/name_f] are a match made in heaven. Sleek and smart and quiet but with just the right amount of spunk. It’s simple and well known but heard seldom.
Celia-This is very pretty. It’s another name that’s easy but you rarely hear it. I think that it grows up well and is calm and charming just like [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
Violet-I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I think that [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] is light pink and [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is purple, and they just mesh together. [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is vintage and has beautiful floral imagery.
Willa-I get a similar vibe here as from [name_f]Celia[/name_f], but [name_f]Willa[/name_f] is a bit more common. And I don’t like how you’d want to nn her [name_u]Willie[/name_u] (or someone might.) It’s really not a huge issue if you love it; just trying to be nit-picky.
Fern-I don’t like the sound of [name_u]Fern[/name_u] as much as I love the vibe of it. Short and old fashioned and bookish in a lovable charming way. It’s also not very popular at all.
Stella-I actually like [name_f]Stella[/name_f] more than [name_u]Fern[/name_u] and maybe [name_f]Willa[/name_f], but it feels maybe too dramatic next to the easy going [name_f]Maeve[/name_f]. Totally not a deal breaker, of course.
Vivian-I like it. It’s pleasant and feminine but not too frilly. It just doesn’t sparkle as much as some of the others.
Vera-I really want to like it. It has a great flapper girl vibe. It’s easy to say and spell but not very common. I like it with [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] too. I just don’t like the way it looks or sounds as much as I want to.
Margot-It’s totally fine and I don’t dislike this name. I just find it a bit clunky, and mostly I don’t like that I hear and see it all of the time.
Teagan-This name doesn’t do much for me. I think it’s just too modern and too boyish. I also don’t know if it’s supposed to be ‘Tay-gen’ or ‘Tee-gin’.
I like how the [name_f]Vera[/name_f] highlights s the V in [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_f]Vera[/name_f] are so cute together!! I also think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] matches really well, so that’d be my second favorite!
[name_f]Maeve[/name_f] & [name_f]Tess[/name_f] couldn’t be a more perfect pair! I also love [name_u]Fern[/name_u] & [name_f]Willa[/name_f] as sisters to [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
