Sister to Thea

Looking for a girl name to sister [name_f]Thea[/name_f]. The last name is Italian and similar to Conti. DH has vetoed a lot of favorites like [name_f]Eve[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f].

We can agree on:

— [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] (although I find it tricky to pronounce)
— [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
— [name_f]Annabelle[/name_f]
— [name_f]Alice[/name_f] (love this one but it doesn’t flow as well with our last name)
— [name_f]Flora[/name_f] (the UK margarine brand could be an issue as we may relocate there)
— [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] (too common?)
— [name_f]Isobel[/name_f]

Middle names we like include [name_f]Frances[/name_f] and [name_f]Lauren[/name_f].

Thoughts?

I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] & [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] with [name_f]Thea[/name_f]! [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is fairly popular as a baby name in the UK, so I don’t think the margarine brand is an issue.

[name_f]Love[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] :cherry_blossom:

Also [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f] :sunny:

With [name_f]Thea[/name_f], my favorites are [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], [name_f]Flora[/name_f] & [name_f]Daphne[/name_f]! I don’t think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is too popular, she only ranks at 106 in the UK (since you might relocate there), so technically out of the top 100 – she does rank at 37 in the US, but I’ve only met one personally (she spelled it Zoey). The margarine brand shouldn’t be an issue since [name_f]Flora[/name_f] is a very familiar name!

With [name_f]Thea[/name_f], I love:

[name_f]Daphne[/name_f] - floral and pretty but strong too

[name_f]Annabelle[/name_f] - sweet and elegant

[name_f]Isobel[/name_f] - charming and sharp

I can’t decide if [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] are a bit tongue twistery, but for what it’s worth, I’ve met a number of Floras here in the UK and it’s currently in the Top 300 so :person_shrugging:

[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites from your list are [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and [name_f]Isobel[/name_f].

We have similar tastes, so a few others you might like:

[name_f]Isadora[/name_f]
[name_f]Willa[/name_f]
[name_f]Della[/name_f]
[name_f]Daisy[/name_f]
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f]
Inez/Ines
[name_f]Lila[/name_f]
[name_f]Clara[/name_f]

I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Thea[/name_f] fit so so well together! They look similar and feel similar. Although flow with last name is important, you’ll be saying just her first name so much more than her full name.

I think [name_f]Flora[/name_f], [name_f]Zoe[/name_f], and [name_f]Daphne[/name_f] are all really nice as well

[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] :white_heart: I think she fits the vibes of [name_f]Thea[/name_f] the best from your list, she’s cool, vibrant and with a very pan-european feel :tulip:

I love the name [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], especially with sister [name_f]Thea[/name_f].

[name_f]Allegra[/name_f]
[name_f]Aria[/name_f]
[name_f]Ariana[/name_f]
[name_f]Lauretta[/name_f]

[name_f]Thea[/name_f] and [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] would be great! I don’t think [name_f]Zoe[/name_f] is too common, I only know one.
[name_f]Zoe[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] would be a great name.
