I’m stuck! For a third girl in our family, I feel like I need a reboot. Big sisters are [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] ([name_f]Vivi[/name_f]) and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. I’d love to keep a flower middle, and because our last name rhymes with Breen but starts with a P, I’d like to avoid PP initials.
Most options that I never went with for my other daughters do not feel fresh or exciting. I’ve also eliminated many loves (like [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]/nn [name_f]Cece[/name_f] and [name_u]Evelyn[/name_u]/nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f]) due to the sibset I’m now trying to fit with…
Thoughts?? I’m sort of warming to [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], even though [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is sort of common. I’ve always loved [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] but those seem even more so. Anything jump out to you? I’m looking for a few suggestions, not lists
While I love your daughters’ names, I’m not crazy about [name_f]Ella[/name_f] as it seems very generic next to both of your girls’ names. Though [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] is even more common than [name_f]Ella[/name_f], I think it suits your sibset much better.
I’d second the suggestions of:
[name_f]Esme[/name_f]
[name_f]Alice[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_f]Anabelle[/name_f] (prefer [name_f]Annabel[/name_f])
[name_f]Sylvia[/name_f]
[name_f]Eliza[/name_f]
[name_f]Scarlett[/name_f]
[name_f]Cordelia[/name_f]
[name_f]Daphne[/name_f]
Other suggestions:
[name_f]Camila[/name_f]
[name_f]Dahlia[/name_f] (a flower but I think it makes a lovely first)
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f]
[name_f]Beatrix[/name_f]
[name_f]Adelaide[/name_f]
[name_f]Lavender[/name_f] (another flower that could work as a first)
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Serena[/name_f]
[name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_f]Isabeau[/name_f]
[name_f]Greer[/name_f]
[name_f]Margot[/name_f]
[name_f]Adeline[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] (this ones on my list, but I realize it’s really [name_m]French[/name_m])
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f]
[name_f]Elise[/name_f] [name_f]Poppy[/name_f]
I think [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] would work much better that [name_f]Ella[/name_f]. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] or [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] would be so pretty. Suggestions: [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f], and:
I love your daughters names, so beautiful!
I also love the name [name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], but I think it doesn’t fir that well with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] & [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I love the suggestion of [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f]. [name_f]IMO[/name_f] it would fit with your daughters’ names perfectly. [name_f]Iris[/name_f] would make a lovely third flower name next to [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. [name_f]Rose[/name_f], [name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_f]Iris[/name_f]
[name_f]Ella[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] is a nice combo, and while I think it’s fine with the sisters’ names it does seem just a little flat, possibly because of its gentle vowel and ‘l’ sounds next to [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]'s stronger presence.
I think [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is gorgeous and would go well. [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] [name_f]Willow[/name_f]. [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] would also work well. [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] or [name_u]Eloise[/name_u] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] would work better than [name_f]Ella[/name_f] I think.
There are tonnes of flower middle names you could use:
[name_f]Ivy[/name_f], [name_f]Daisy[/name_f], [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Holly[/name_f], [name_f]Iris[/name_f], [name_f]Poppy[/name_f], [name_f]Fern[/name_f], [name_f]Willow[/name_f] & [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] are the options I can think of
[name_f]Olivia[/name_f] [name_f]Laurel[/name_f] is probably my favourite!
[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] and [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] sound wonderful together. [name_f]Ella[/name_f] is pretty but not a great match imo.
[name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Daisy[/name_f] sounds like a great choice.
I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Louisa[/name_f].
Thank you for all of these suggestions! It helps so much to have input and analysis to consider. I know I need a balance with [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] in particular, but through these lists, I’m realizing that I’d prefer a more modern or classic name that can fit. I know a name like [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] would seem too left field, but maybe dh will go for [name_f]Thea[/name_f] or [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]. At least we have time!
