This time, it’s not me who’s preggos. but it is my sister, [name]Callie[/name]. Her baby girl is due in 3 (!!!) weeks. No name definents, but some choices. She loved my daughter’s name so much, ([name]Annemarie[/name]) that she decided she wanted my help naming her baby, so here are our options:
[name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Myra[/name] - When I say it, my tongue trips over the flow a bit. Perhaps [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Maia[/name] is better?
[name]Alison[/name] [name]Jeniffer[/name] - too boring. I like [name]Alison[/name] [name]Maia[/name], though.
[name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] “[name]Lula[/name]” - [name]ADORE[/name] this!
[name]Samara[/name] [name]Lilly[/name] - eh. Perhaps [name]Samara[/name] [name]Lillian[/name]? I think [name]Samara[/name] needs a longer name than [name]Lilly[/name] after it.
[name]Nell[/name] [name]Genevieve[/name] - cute, but I personally prefer [name]Nell[/name] as a nickname for [name]Eleanor[/name].
[name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] is my favorite from the list. I also like [name]Ingrid[/name], but I’d choose a different middle name. [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Mae[/name], [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Lily[/name], [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Pearl[/name], [name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Elise[/name]… [name]Alison[/name] is ok, but I would also choose a different middle name. I don’t really like [name]Samara[/name] (had a [name]Golden[/name] Retriever with that name) and I really dislike [name]Nell[/name] (I think of [name]Nell[/name] [name]Carter[/name]).
As a complete package, I suppose I like [name]Tallulah[/name] [name]Jane[/name] the best, too. I’m not quite as crazy about it as the previous posters just because I can’t quite picture an adult [name]Tallulah[/name] or [name]Lula[/name] in a very serious way. But it is cute and I love the name [name]Jane[/name].
If I were allowed to swap things around, I would actually go with [name]Genevieve[/name] as a first name. Maybe with [name]Lilly[/name] or [name]Myra[/name] as the middle name.
[name]Ingrid[/name] [name]Myra[/name] doesn’t flow very well as they said above. [name]Ingrid[/name] is also a little bit unfriendly sounding to me.
[name]Alison[/name] [name]Jennifer[/name] (I assume you would actually spell it this way, not [name]Jeniffer[/name]) is very 80s feeling to me. I adore the name [name]Alice[/name], though, if you would maybe consider that. One of my all-time favorite names.
[name]Samara[/name] and [name]Nell[/name] are both fine to me; I don’t love them, but I don’t dislike them.
Good luck to you and your sister!
