I want to hear your thoughts! [name]Do[/name] you think [name]Crosby[/name] & [name]Tate[/name] even make good brothers? What do you think would be their personalities?
[name]Willa[/name] or [name]Holland[/name] would work the best with [name]Crosby[/name] and [name]Tate[/name]. While I can’t quite put my finger on the words to describe this style, I don’t imagine the parents of boys [name]Crosby[/name] and [name]Tate[/name] giving their daughters girly, vintage names. This rules out choices like [name]Beatrice[/name], [name]Eleanor[/name], [name]Sophie[/name], [name]Marie[/name], and [name]Flora[/name]. [name]Posey[/name] is too whimsical and [name]Daphne[/name] clashes stylistically. That leaves you with [name]Willa[/name] (which could technically be considered vintage) and [name]Holland[/name]. My recommendation would be [name]Willow[/name] or [name]Hollis[/name] though.
Thanks for the feedback southern.maple. I agree, that [name]Crosby[/name] & [name]Tate[/name] don’t really fit in with the rest of my favorite names, but i am really drawn to them both for different reasons.
[name]Do[/name] you think [name]Crosby[/name] & [name]Tate[/name] perhaps sound too southern/country for the more “refined” vintagey names? For whatever reason, i think [name]Beatrice[/name] works, since they would more often than not be [name]Crosby[/name], [name]Tate[/name] & [name]Bea[/name]. I think those three share the same sweetness. Same goes for [name]Crosby[/name], [name]Tate[/name] & [name]Nora[/name] ([name]Eleanore[/name]).
So I guess i’m still pretty confused as to what names i think go well with these two names…
I was going to say the same as PP. [name]Crosby[/name] and [name]Tate[/name] have a very different feel to the girls names you’ve listed. Which I love btw. [name]Daphne[/name] and [name]Flora[/name] are definite favourites. I think [name]Nora[/name] fits the bill.
I too, think these names more as modern than anything…though I see why some people may think of them as deep south names. For me, the name [name]Tate[/name] reminds me of the [name]Tate[/name] Modern museum, and [name]Crosby[/name] of course reminds me of [name]Bing[/name] [name]Crosby[/name], and also [name]Crosby[/name] Braverman (a character in NBC’s Parenthood). I also think the name [name]Ozzie[/name] would be adorable for [name]Crosby[/name] which is partially why i’m drawn to him.
As for sister names, I’m still stuck. Out of your suggestions i’m loving [name]Eliza[/name].
[name]How[/name] about the names [name]Anne[/name]/[name]Annie[/name], [name]Bronte[/name], [name]Delphie[/name], [name]Milly[/name] ([name]Camille[/name]? [name]Amelia[/name]?), [name]Cleo[/name], [name]Gemma[/name], [name]Halle[/name], [name]Juliet[/name], [name]Liberty[/name], [name]Lucy[/name], [name]Reese[/name], [name]Ruby[/name], [name]Zara[/name] (my long list, excluding the names already listed above)
Out of your list, the only one that stands out to me is [name]Crosby[/name], [name]Tate[/name], and [name]Willa[/name]. Because I think the others just sound too girly compared to [name]Crosby[/name] and [name]Tate[/name].
[name]Crosby[/name] and [name]Tate[/name] together are adorable, though. I think they made a good sibset. I would imagine [name]Crosby[/name] as the more laid back, artistic brother while [name]Tate[/name] is the life of the party, though he still likes to sit back and read a good book. I’m reading far into this aren’t I? Haha <3
I personally love your girl name choices, though!
It’s up to you of course, but if it was me, I would maybe see if I could find some shorter more modern girl names that I loved for this sibset.
Crosby, Tate & Kora (or Cora, could be Coraline)
Crosby, Tate & Amy
Crosby, Tate & Zoe (Zophia?)
Crosby, Tate & Finley
Crosby, Tate & Rain or Laurel
I hope i could help a little! Sorry if none of them are your style!
Good luck <3
I think [name]Zara[/name] and [name]Halle[/name] are a really good match. I am a sucker for [name]Delphi[/name] (probably prefer no ‘e’) and [name]Cleo[/name]/[name]Clio[/name].
