[name_f]Nella[/name_f] is an absolutely sunny name! She’s delightful! For a sister, I think so many styles can work. As long as it’s a name that doesn’t feel too commonly used, I see a bright and shining pair as a sister to lovely [name_f]Nella[/name_f]. I’m super into [name_f]Nella[/name_f] + [name_u]Caro[/name_u], [name_f]Nella[/name_f] + [name_f]Mari[/name_f], and [name_f]Nella[/name_f] + [name_u]Percy[/name_u]! You defingely hit the slightly quirky-sweet vibe I think [name_f]Nella[/name_f] has as well.
@acajou That’s funny; I just read Passing earlier this year! It was definitely so fun getting to see [name_f]Nella[/name_f] in real life for a while. (I also highly recommend The Vanishing Half if you have not read that!)
Your suggestions have me thinking that [name_f]Nella[/name_f], [name_f]Frances[/name_f], and [name_f]Opal[/name_f] would be such a fun vintage set of sister names! I also have been having a huge [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] moment recently so I was so happy to see you suggest her. Thank you for all of these!

I absolutely adore the idea of [name_f]Nella[/name_f] and [name_f]Ruthie[/name_f] as sisters now that you’ve mentioned it. (I mean, [name_f]Nell[/name_f] and Ru?! So cute) [name_f]Nella[/name_f] and [name_f]Francie[/name_f] is also so sweet and has me thinking about [name_f]Nella[/name_f] and [name_u]Frankie[/name_u] as well.

You’ve also got me thinking about [name_f]Fawn[/name_f] in a way I hadn’t before. [name_f]Olive[/name_f] also as the same sweet-quirky quality as [name_f]Nella[/name_f] but I wonder about using it because I don’t like the food.
