I am loving [name]Willa[/name] for so many reasons, its exactly what I’m looking for for our daughter due in [name]September[/name].
But I’m guessing that like every other girl name I like [name]Nella[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] are just too close to work for Sisters. Thoughts?

[name]Penelope[/name] nn [name]Nella[/name] and [name]Twyla[/name], [name]Wilhelmina[/name] nn [name]Willa[/name]? Or [name]Penelope[/name] and [name]Willa[/name].
I would personally find them too close to work for sisters, unless it was a situation of twins.
For me, [name]Nella[/name] is more like a nn than a full name! But I love [name]Willa[/name]. I think they could be sisters :]

We already have a [name]Nella[/name] so no nickname there, that’s her full given name~ [name]Nella[/name] [name]Annaliese[/name]. Not big on [name]Wilhelmina[/name] or nicknames in general really. I’m one of those call them what you name them kinda people. 
I guess I should have clarified that we already have a 19 month old, full name [name]Nella[/name] [name]Annaliese[/name]. We adore her name and it fits her perfectly. Im not a big nick name person at all and like short and sweet, feminine but not super frilly etc for girls.
I can almost see it working out as they will not be forever connected as [name]Nella[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] the Sisters to everyone they meet but I dont know its borderline.

Yeah, sorry, [name]Nella[/name] and [name]Willa[/name] are pretty close. I can’t really think of any way to make it work, unless you just come to terms that they’ll be very similar and use them anyway.

I really love the name, I guess because it is similar, same style and vibe and that’s what I’m looking for. I just can not find the perfect thing out there anywhere. I’m not sure if I could come to terms with it or not. I have conflicting views.

They are extremely similar. If you were to yell one of their names in the house, one name has such similar sounds to the other that you would always have the confusion about which girl you were calling for. My name sounds a lot like my mom’s nickname when it’s yelled in our house, even though on paper they don’t look alike at all!
I could call with middle names included 
No I really do know what you mean… I’m [name]Jonna[/name] ([name]John[/name]-a), my Dad is [name]John[/name] and my Husband is [name]Jon[/name]. It’s never been a big issue though.
What about [name]Willow[/name], and you could call her [name]Willa[/name] at times! It kind of takes the similar sound endings away slightly. N

Yeah I’ve given up on it now. We do have a nella and we adore her name, get tons of compliments on it.
