[name]Sky[/name] sounds more boyish to me so I say go for it
I had class with a guy named [name]Sky[/name] and he was quite outgoing, friendly, and respected. So the name reminds me of a cool guy. I think you should use it!
It sounds fantastic on a boy. I wouldn’t worry at all.
If [name]Skylar[/name] isn’t your cup of tea, I think it could work as short for [name]Scott[/name] or [name]Scout[/name]? Or make his initials [name]SKY[/name].
I think it can work on a boy! Other word and nature names work on both boy’s and girl’s so there’s no reason why you can’t use [name]Sky[/name]. I actually find it handsome on a boy but cheap and bland on a girl.
I think that [name]Sky[/name] on a boy would be absolutely fine! I like it.
I think it’s great on a boy! I love [name]Schuyler[/name] nn [name]Sky[/name]/Schuy, so I don’t know why you couldn’t use just [name]Sky/name for a boy. I think it’s really cool, actually. Besides, some celebrity used [name]Sky[/name] for their son a couple of weeks ago, I think, so that might make it more acceptable? I’m not sure what celeb it was, but they weren’t in the spotlight enough for it to be one of those, “Oh, is it [name]Violet[/name], like [name]Jennifer[/name] [name]Garner[/name]'s daughter?” but the people who had heard it might just instinctively see it more on a boy, I think. I would go with a traditional MN, though, like [name]Sky[/name] [name]Daniel[/name]/[name]Sky[/name] [name]Peter[/name]/[name]Sky[/name] [name]Edward[/name], etc., to balance out the slightly hippy feel of [name]Sky[/name].
Good luck!
I know a male [name]Skye[/name]! He’s very masculine and so it seems like a male name to me. I know two male Schuylers, one female [name]Skylar[/name], but no female Skyes. Go for it! [name]Sky[/name] is a great name for a man.
I love this name on a boy! But I would strongly consider using the [name]Skye[/name] spelling rather than [name]Sky[/name].
Well personally I love the name [name]Skyler[/name] for a boy, and [name]Sky[/name] is a super cute nickname. (one of my guy friends is named [name]Skyler[/name], and we use the name [name]Sky[/name] as a nn for him) but I sort of dislike the name “[name]Sky[/name]” on its own, it feels incomplete to me. When the boy gets older, he will probably have to explain, more than once, that his name is [name]Sky[/name], just [name]Sky[/name] and its not short for [name]Skyler[/name] or something else, but if you like it, go for it!
good luck!
