Ok, basically I like the name [name_f]Livia[/name_f] for my character, and so I was googling fictitious bearers of the name, and one of them looks just like my character. Is this too much of a similarity? (As far I can tell looks is the only similarity) Should I use [name_f]Olivia[/name_f] instead, even though it’s infinitely more popular?
I would still use [name_f]Livia[/name_f]! I doubt many would know the reference. [name_f]Lavinia[/name_f] is another option that comes to mind!

There are thousands, millions even, of books in the world, you can bet there are a good bunch of characters that look and are named the same. Go with your gut, if your character is [name_f]Livia[/name_f] then [name_f]Livia[/name_f] she shall be.

I would go with [name_f]Livia[/name_f]! Unless this book is as popular as [name_u]Harry[/name_u] [name_m]Potter[/name_m], I don’t think it would be a problem. You could use [name_f]Livia[/name_f] as a nn for [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], but I don’t think you need to
