Slightly Awkward?

I know a young mum and her name is [name]Heaven[/name]-[name]Lee[/name]. I’m fine with that. Well, I was until I found out her daughters names was…

[name]Nevaeh[/name]-[name]Lee[/name].

Apparently her best friend picked out the name.

Have you ever heard some awkward matchy names like this?

~[name]Jasmine[/name]

oh goodness. that’s awful. [name]Heaven[/name] and [name]Nevaeh[/name]. I know a set of identical twins in [name]Emilia[/name]'s nursery at church named [name]Chloe[/name] and [name]Cleo[/name]…also sisters named [name]Isabelle[/name] and [name]Annabelle[/name]…

Shouldn’t she have been Eel-[name]Nevaeh[/name]?

lol.

It’s cases like this when Nameberry needs a like button.

I know a family with a son named [name]Tyler[/name] and daughter named [name]Taylor[/name]. I know another family with a [name]Kylie[/name] and a [name]Kelly[/name]. And in both cases I’m like, these seem like normal people, how do they NOT realize how they basically gave their children the same name???

Oh My Goodness. Yes. If there was I would probably make another account and like it twice.

Especially since [name]Heaven[/name]-[name]Lee[/name]/heavenly omg that’s just tragic lol

Hahaha

My dad actually wanted to name me [name]Kelly[/name] even though I have a sister [name]Cally[/name]. Good thing my mom vetoed that one! I don’t know any too strange families but I know Nomar Garciaparra (baseball player) was named after either a father of grandfather named [name]Ramon[/name], which I kind of like personally.

That’s kind of creepy. I’ve seen worse though. While digging through my family tree, I had a distant cousin named [name]Sharyn[/name] [name]Lee[/name] who named her daughter [name]Sharen[/name] [name]Lee[/name]. [name]Just[/name] one letter away from each other! I imagine that got confusing really fast.

I know a woman whose name is [name]Sharyl[/name] and her brother’s name is [name]Daron[/name]. Their parent’s names are [name]Sharon[/name] and [name]Daryl[/name]. O_o

Wow. That’s intense.

Wow… that’s horrible.

Two of my mother’s sisters are [name]Inez[/name] and [name]Agnes[/name], variations of the same name.

I used to work with a woman whose friend just had twin boys. Dad is [name]Brent[/name]. The older daughter is [name]Brenna[/name]. And now the twins are [name]Brenton[/name] and Brentley. Yowza.

There’s a mom in my life with sons [name]Austin[/name] and Eastin. Pourquoi???

I know a family with two boys named [name]Kaeden[/name] and [name]Kamden[/name], one letter apart! And a family with a [name]Rylie[/name] and [name]Kylie[/name], a boy and a girl.

At least they were consistent. [name]How[/name] odd would it have been if they had had [name]Brenna[/name], [name]Brenton[/name] and [name]Joshua[/name]?

I don’t mind some similarities between sibling names.(for example, my son is [name]Cuyler[/name] but I also love the name [name]Asher[/name], same syllable count/ending sound, even this is too much for a lot of berries) but [name]Brent[/name], [name]Brenna[/name], Brentley and [name]Brenton[/name], wow, the could all go by [name]Brent[/name] or [name]Bren[/name]!! Too much! [name]Rylie[/name] and [name]Kylie[/name]? Definitely too much for me!

Haha, oh my gosh these are awful sibsets. To a lesser extent, my son had a class with non-twin siblings in it named [name]Logan/name and [name]Landon/name. I probably offended their mother, because as hard as I tried I could not keep my eyes from widening when she said her daughter was named [name]Landon[/name]. Awkward.

Ha, Eel [name]Heaven[/name]!

I once saw the sibset [name]Adrian[/name], [name]Adriana[/name], [name]Alexander[/name] and [name]Alexandra[/name] in an obituary.
