I think [name]Charlotte[/name] is your best bet. It matches really well with [name]Sofia[/name]. It’s not too long and [name]Charlotte[/name] doesn’t lend itself to nicknames as much as some other names (i.e. people probably won’t call her [name]Charlie[/name] unless told to).
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Charlotte[/name]
I don’t think [name]Charlotte[/name] is too long, and I also don’t think nicknames are inevitable. I know many Charlottes that stay [name]Charlotte[/name] their whole life! Although I hate the nickname [name]Charlie[/name], which could happen!
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Catherine[/name]
I think [name]Catherine[/name] is too plain and ‘safe’ next to [name]Sofia[/name]. Maybe you could change the spelling to a less-traditional [name]Kathryn[/name], and the nickname could be [name]Kathy[/name]? [name]Kathy[/name] is soft and sweet, and goes well with [name]Sofia[/name]! [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Kathy[/name]
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Emma[/name]
Again, [name]Emma[/name] is too plain! It’s nice, but boring!
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Amelia[/name]
I don’t think [name]Amelia[/name] will get nicknames, so I think this is a good choice! Although, you’re right, they are a bit matchy!
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Juliet[/name]
Definitely my favourite combination! [name]Both[/name] are classic, beautiful names that go so well together and sound truly elegant!
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Julia[/name]
Again, too matchy and rhymy!
[name]Sofia[/name] & [name]Madeline[/name]
[name]One[/name] of my sisters is called [name]Madeline[/name] and this will definitely get shortened to [name]Maddie[/name]! So, unless you like the nickname [name]Maddie[/name], I wouldn’t go with this one!
[name]Lily[/name] - I find [name]Lily[/name] too weak next to [name]Sofia[/name].
[name]Ella[/name] - Too rhymy with [name]Sofia[/name].
[name]Eloise[/name] - I love this! Still prefer [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name], but [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Eloise[/name] sounds lovely too!
[name]Eliza[/name] - I think this sounds too harsh next to the soft [name]Sofia[/name].
Good luck!
I really like [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Catherine[/name]…she could always be [name]Catie[/name] instead of [name]Cate[/name] if that flows a bit better. I dont think its too plain at all!
[name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Juliet[/name] are lovely too. Different enough too eliminate “ia” worries, but both very feminine and sweet.
[name]Emma[/name] doesnt feel stale to me, it is quite popular though and, like [name]Emily[/name], has been at the top for some time now.
[name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Amelia[/name] are the only ones that feel a little rhymey to me…you have some lovely choices!
