[name_m]Hi[/name_m] again! Chapter two in my quest to name my little girl. Which do you prefer [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] or [name_f]Delta[/name_f]? I’m considering going a little more out there. To match brother [name_u]Hunter[/name_u] [name_u]James[/name_u] and two syllable surname starting with M. Probably [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] for the middle name to add a girly feel.
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] M------
[name_f]Delta[/name_f] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] M-----
I like that these seem modern, easy to say, pretty easy to spell and most of all just rare enough to make my daughter seem like the precious gem she is. (I’m in Australia so I’m not worried about [name_f]Delta[/name_f] airlines or sororities). I like the simplicity of a one syllable name too as my husband is [name_m]Luke[/name_m]. [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is also tipped by Nameberry to be a next generation name.
Thanks in advance!
Of the two, I would probably go with [name_f]Delta[/name_f]. However, I [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Miranda[/name_f]. [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is absolutely perfect.
Thanks for the comment. I like [name_f]Miranda[/name_f] too but it’s too close to my name, Mikarla, to use as a first.
I prefer [name_f]Delta[/name_f]. Not a fan of [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] at all.
[name_f]Delta[/name_f] is darling.
I really don’t love [name_u]Sloane[/name_u], the sound is just not appealing to me at all.
I like both. [name_f]Delta[/name_f] reminds me too much of the letter, so Iam voting for [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]. In the past I didnt like the name at all, but i really like it now.
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] for sure! I like the [name_m]Ferris[/name_m] [name_m]Bueller[/name_m] character
I’m going to go with [name_f]Delta[/name_f] on this one… [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] isn’t a good girls name imo.
[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] has really grown on me lately, so I go with that. I think [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] goes best with her brother, too. But, I do love [name_f]Delta[/name_f].
[name_u]Hunter[/name_u] {and} [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] – two surname names – is, in my opinion, the best match.
