[name_u]Love[/name_u] the name [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] right now but my brother and his ex girlfriend had a dog with this name. Although we never see her or the dog does that rule the name out??
If whenever you and your family hear/say/think the name [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] your brothers ex girlfriends dog comes immediately to mind, then I’d probably steer clear of it. If not, I don’t think it really matters.
If it doesn’t bother you then I don’t think it matters. The only hesitation I have is if it was a really tough break up for your brother and he was very close to the dog. It may not be something he wants to be reminded of every time he sees his niece.
