What are your thoughts on the name [name_m]Smith[/name_m]? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you even think of it as a name? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you think it’s boring either way?
I honestly kinda dig it. I feel like something like [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m], [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u], or paired with another surname would be cool. Any good combos?
I like it! I love surname names - they’re my favorite kind of names. [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u] are great. Here are some other options:
I like the grounded, down-to-earth, sophisticated vibe it gives me. One could argue it’s too much of a surname to use as a first – as a surname it’s definitely everywhere, but it still feels much fresher as a first. Not my absolute favourite, but it can definitely work.
I actually have a [name_m]Smith[/name_m], toddler age, in my family so it works. When he was named I think I had to do a double take. I think the middle could make all the difference with the combo especially if the actual surname is also equally familiar
To me it’s a fresher version of [name_m]Jones[/name_m] or [name_u]Hayes[/name_u] as a first name!
I love your ideas of [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_m]Harrison[/name_m] and [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u]. I think I’d probably use something along the lines of [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_u]Auden[/name_u] or [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_m]Olson[/name_m].
I quite like [name_m]Smith[/name_m], but I am also a fan of surnames as first names! While a common last name, especially in the US, it’s so fresh to see it used in the first spot. Surnames as fns always feel so warm to me (with strong southern vibes), and [name_m]Smith[/name_m] fits this feel. [name_m]Smith[/name_m] [name_u]Callahan[/name_u] is my favorite of your choices!
