So excited!! Just thought of some new great name combos! Which is your fav?

See the results of this poll: Which sounds and looks the BEST?!

Respondents: 43 (This poll is closed)

  • Alice Emmeline : 23 (41%)
  • Lilah Christine : 6 (11%)
  • Violet Emmeline : 20 (36%)
  • Felicity Alice: 7 (13%)

The only one I’m not crazy about is [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f] ([name_f]Lila[/name_f] is fine but [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] just looks like the end of [name_f]Delilah[/name_f]). With your surname, I would rate the others as follows:

1 [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - classically gorgeous. I like the 2-3 syllable count of the fn and surname.
2 [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] - this one sparkles with sunshine! The reason it’s No# 2 is the length with your surname.
3 [name_f]Violet[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] - this is third because the “t” in [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and the hard “k” in your ln is a bit harsher sounding than the other two choices.

[name_u]Mischa[/name_u], great feedback I completely agree with everything you said! The only thing I don’t get is the [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] thing, but you must be right because it got the least votes in the poll haha.

I agree, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f] has too many syllables to go with my 3-syllable last name.
And I also have previously noticed that the “t” in [name_f]Violet[/name_f] sounds harsh with my last name Dolhanyk, but I was hoping I was imagining that because [name_f]Violet[/name_f] has been my absolute favorite girl name for YEARS! And I don’t like the alternative of [name_f]Viola[/name_f]. I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f]. But you just confirmed my thoughts that it really DOES sound harsh with my last name. I’m so bummed :frowning:

But seriously great thoughts, you helped a lot, thank you!!

I love [name_f]Lilah[/name_f] [name_f]Christine[/name_f]! So pretty!

I think [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Emmeline[/name_f] has the smoothest flow, but my preference as far as names goes is for [name_f]Violet[/name_f] over [name_f]Alice[/name_f].
