So I finally found an honor name I love

So I have wracked my brain trying to come up with names that are not too common but not to out there. I also wanted something that had cute nicknames, something both my parents and husband love, and something that would honor at least one family member. I FINALLY thought of one I love. Carrieann [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]. [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] is my step dads (an amazing man who stepped up to raise three girls when my real dad stepped out) last name while ann and [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] are my sisters middle names. The nicknames would be care bear while a baby/toddler carrie or [name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_u]Shelley[/name_u] growing up. My one worry is it might be a little childish sounding. I guess my question is does it pass the doctor test (would ou want to see a doctor with this name/does it sound like a doctor’s name) or is it to childish

I think it passes the test but I think it could be a little confusing. People may easily assume that It’s [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] and [name_f]Ann[/name_f] is her middle name or that it’s hyphenated. Carrington or [name_m]Kerrigan[/name_m] would be good alternatives.

I like Carrieann [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]. It doesn’t sound childish at all, and it has plenty of nickname / shortened options she can use. If you’re happy, then I say go for it!

Why not just [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]?

I would spell it [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f], since Carrieann looks puzzling to me. Other than that, it’s a lovely name! Very sweet with a slightly vintage, [name_m]Little[/name_m] House on the [name_u]Prairie[/name_u] air.

I can definitely see [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] on a doctor!

Its definitely not too childish and it does pass the test, however I do think Carrieann looks a little smooshed to me. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] or just [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] [name_f]Michelle[/name_f]? (With [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f] as the first name.)

I like the sound of Carrieann, but I’m not sure about the spelling. Personally I think I’d go with [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]. I also know a woman called Carianne, maybe that’s an option?

I like it. What about [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] “[name_f]Carrie[/name_f]” [name_f]Michelle[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f]?

I agree with previous posters about spelling it [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] or [name_f]Carrie[/name_f] [name_f]Ann[/name_f].

I do like carrie-[name_f]Ann[/name_f]. I think it looks better and I will take that into consideration.

I agree [name_f]Carrie[/name_f]-[name_f]Ann[/name_f] or Cerian would be best.
