So torn - changing baby's name after all!

I’m back here and more undecided than ever!

We don’t know why this has happened to us but the name [name]Annabel[/name] is not sticking to our baby girl. She has a strong personality and I feel like [name]Annabel[/name] is too, what’s the word I’m looking for…

Anyway, here is a list I had from the past and I’d love some feedback. [name]Feel[/name] free to mix and match FNs and MNs.

Reminder siblings are [name]Nicholas[/name] and [name]Caroline[/name]

[name]Charlize[/name] [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

[name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

[name]Adrianna[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Hyde[/name] (or [name]Arianna[/name])

[name]Elizabeth[/name] [name]Mila[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

[name]Camilla[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

[name]Genevieve[/name] [name]Clara[/name] [name]Hyde[/name] (or [name]Mila[/name])

[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name]/[name]Marion[/name] [name]Hyde[/name] (NN would be V or [name]Vivi[/name]) - I’m also open to [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]

Please give me some guidance - current name is [name]Annabel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

out of all your names I can honestly say her name already oozes power and leader. It is a great name for a strong girl! The best out of the lot. But if you want a second choice: [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Hyde[/name].
The rest are lovely but in my opinion softer not as strong.

I like [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] & [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]

Funnily enough to me the name [name]Annabel[/name] may on the surface seem frilly and feminine but actually leaves me with the impression that an [name]Annabel[/name] would be a spunky, confident and even slightly bossy type of girl. Which seems to fit the description of your [name]Annabel[/name]!
Of your other names the only one that has the same character vibe to me is [name]Scarlett[/name].

I get the same impression as you about [name]Annabel[/name] I think. Like maybe it’s a bit too… soft or something? I like [name]Marlowe[/name]. [name]How[/name] about [name]Marlowe[/name] [name]Charlize[/name]?

I would probably just leave her name as [name]Annabel[/name], but I love [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Victoria[/name]. That’s one of my favorite combinations. I’ve been thinking of using it myself.

I’d just flip them and do [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]

Too soft for her.
[name]Victoria[/name], I believe I was rooting for [name]Victoria[/name] from before as well. [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] is a nice idea. [name]Victoria[/name]'s stronger, and it’s just a simple rearranging.

[name]Olivia[/name] [name]Scarlett[/name] would be nice too if you were open to that, or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Victoria[/name].
I do think that [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Caroline[/name], and [name]Victoria[/name]'s great though.

I like the idea of switching up the two names and going with [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]. [name]Victoria[/name] is a very strong, spunky first name.

[name]Scarlett[/name] or [name]Victoria[/name] would suit her perfectly.
[name]Annabel[/name] just seems too soft for a girl with her personality.

I do love [name]Annabel[/name] in your sibset… but I agree it sounds very sweet.

[name]How[/name] about Rosabel? [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] & Rosabel. To me, Rosabel sounds stronger (I love this name). Or [name]Annalise[/name]?

I also think [name]Victoria[/name] is a good choice. [name]Nicholas[/name], [name]Caroline[/name] & [name]Victoria[/name]. Very nice.
[name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] would be a nice little change… but I also like [name]Genevieve[/name]!
Good luck deciding.

[name]Elizabeth[/name], [name]Adrianna[/name], [name]Camilla[/name] and [name]Genevieve[/name] are all very soft and ladylike to me.

[name]Charlize[/name] scares me.

[name]Victoria[/name] is perfect.

I agree with this. [name]Annabel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] is such a strong, beautiful name with oodles of personality! But if you’re considering calling her [name]Victoria[/name] instead, and all your paperwork is filled out, I would just keep it as it is. An [name]Annabel[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] can still go by her MN.

My favorite out of your combos will always be [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name], though. You seem to keep coming back to it, time and time again, so I would think you really, really love it. If you think [name]Olivia[/name] suits your daughter, then I think it’s a great option, and I would love to see you finally use it.

Edited for privacy.

[name]Anna[/name], [name]Annie[/name], [name]Anya[/name], [name]Ann[/name], [name]Belle[/name] & [name]Bella[/name] all don’t work either? [name]How[/name] about [name]Victoria[/name]? [name]Torey[/name], [name]Vicky[/name], [name]Vika[/name], Coreu, [name]Cora[/name]?
[name]Both[/name] names are so versatile. Maybe one of these options will feel more ‘her’

[name]Victoria[/name] is the stronger name than the more frilly [name]Annabel[/name] so I would suggest that you just switch her names around.

[name]Camilla[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]

I’d got with [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name]! It’ll be a lot easier for her to go by her middle name, rather than changing it completely if you’ve already got things like the birth certificate, announcements, passport & stuff done. Plus, depending on how ‘traditional’ your family is, telling them you’re going to call her by her middle name will be easier for them to accept than changing her name entirely.
Plus, [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Annabel[/name] is awesome! And I really prefer it over everything else on your list. What does your husband think about changing her name? What’s his preference?

For a strong personality, I love [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] or [name]Olivia[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name]!
I think both are strong and spunky, especially [name]Olivia[/name] so you can call her [name]Liv[/name] for short :).
I also think [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Marlowe[/name] sounds amazing, as well.

Good luck choosing a name for your little girl :).

I’m totally in love with [name]Scarlett[/name] [name]Victoria[/name] [name]Hyde[/name]! <3 Nicholas, Caroline & Scarlett sound so lovely together <3 Victoria Marlowe Hyde is pretty as well  Great alternatives! I understand what you mean though, Annabel is not meant for a strong personality.
