Please help!
I am looking for a name for my daughter who will arrive soon. I love the name Sofia but I also like Emilia. I have a couple options that I like but any suggestions are welcome!
Her last name will be Bazilio and middle name will be Maria (mother and grandmothers name) or Eliza (mom name Elisabeth and dad name Lizandro)
Her sibling names are Naomi, Lisa and Rafael.

[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is my favorite!! I think that it goes really well with [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], [name_u]Lisa[/name_u], and [name_m]Rafael[/name_m]
I’d avoid using [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] for a middle name, since you already have a [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] and they can both be short for Elizabeth!!
I also don’t love the idea of “Sofia Maria”, as it rhymes!

[name_f]Emilia[/name_f] is a lovely name, but I think it rhymes too much with Bazilio. The matchy combination of “Emilia Bazilio” reminds me a bit of an old children’s book character, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_f]Bedelia[/name_f].

I love [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] and think it’s very cute how it combines both parent names. However both [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] and [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] are derivatives of [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] and mean the same thing. However most people won’t know that so if it doesn’t bother you, then it’s fine, just wanted to let you know. If it does bother you, [name_f]Aliza[/name_f] (prn uh-lee-za) is not related to the [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] name family if you want to consider that. I think [name_m]Lizandro[/name_m] is from [name_m]Lysander[/name_m] and not related to those 3 names but [name_u]Lisa[/name_u] looks similar to [name_m]Lizandro[/name_m] so could be seen as an honor as well

I am slightly biased being someone with the name [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] and I love my name. I like how most people have heard of it but not many people have it.
Something else to consider is that [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] comes with plenty of nicknames compared to [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] is that is something that is important to you. I personally have three nicknames, [name_f]Mimi[/name_f], [name_f]Mia[/name_f] and [name_f]Millie[/name_f] but I do know of others. If for you nicknames are a concern then maybe consider this but if not you might lean towards [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] which is also beautiful. Some other names,

Okay I love [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]María[/name_f] it just gives me a happy warm feeling. [name_f]My[/name_f] only concern with [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] would be it is very hard to put a nickname on it.
