[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

I voted for [name_u]Remy[/name_u]. It definitely has a soft & gentle sound, but I still think it’s fun & boyish. Most of the others I think are better as nns. I like [name_m]Wilder[/name_m] nn [name_m]Wiley[/name_m] a lot.

Other suggestions:

[name_m]Barnaby[/name_m]

[name_u]Casey[/name_u]

[name_u]Finlay[/name_u]

[name_m]Gatsby[/name_m]

[name_u]Grady[/name_u]

[name_m]Malachy[/name_m]

[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]

[name_m]Westley[/name_m]

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

I love [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u]!!

[name_m]Raffy[/name_m], [name_m]Monty[/name_m], [name_u]Murphy[/name_u] and [name_m]Alby[/name_m] came to mind

[name_u]Remy[/name_u] is my favourite by far!

Reasons why I don’t like the other options:
[name_f]Indy[/name_f] is strictly feminine for me. [name_u]Jory[/name_u] is kind of hard to say, and doesn’t feel like a ‘real’ name. [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] is dated and I find it quite boring. [name_u]Marley[/name_u] isn’t masculine enough for my taste, and makes me think of the film [name_u]Marley[/name_u] and Me, where the dog is called [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is very popular where I’m from, and makes me think of ‘rawr’, the noise a lion makes! Seems quite childish. & Finally, [name_m]Wiley[/name_m] is the name of a controversial English rapper.

Another vote for [name_u]Remy[/name_u]! I’m not a fan of the other options at all. [name_m]Just[/name_m] so you know - [name_m]Wiley[/name_m] is the name of a controversial English rapper.

[name_m]How[/name_m] about:

[name_u]Alvie[/name_u]
Cavali / Cavalli
[name_m]Dougie[/name_m]
Emre
[name_f]Essey[/name_f]
[name_m]Imari[/name_m]
[name_u]Jay[/name_u]
[name_m]Kobe[/name_m] / [name_m]Koby[/name_m]
[name_m]Louis[/name_m] / [name_m]Luis[/name_m]
Luxley
[name_u]Oakley[/name_u]
[name_m]Ohari[/name_m]
[name_u]Percy[/name_u]
[name_m]Thady[/name_m]
[name_u]Toby[/name_u]

(Apologies for any repeats!)

I voted for [name_u]Rory[/name_u], but I also like [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and I’m sort of into [name_u]Jory[/name_u]. Seconding suggestions of [name_u]Toby[/name_u] and [name_u]Casey[/name_u].

[name_m]Albie[/name_m] is cute suggestion but I’m afraid it’s only one letter from my name. I also really like [name_u]Murphy[/name_u] and it’s totally the right style, but I just know too many people with it as a surname. Eighth grade bullies rock. sarcasm

I do like [name_m]Eddy[/name_m]! [name_m]Edward[/name_m] is a family name for me, but I’ve just never been a fan. I’m not afraid of it using a nickname, though I’d probably like it in the middle to “normalize” one of my more out there favorites.

Thanks!

I like [name_u]Jory[/name_u] (love to see the unusual Cornish version of [name_m]George[/name_m] pop up!), [name_u]Remy[/name_u] and [name_u]Rory[/name_u].

My vote went to sweet little [name_u]Remy[/name_u] as I like it how it is, with the Y – I love [name_f]Indie[/name_f], though specifically when spelled with the IE rather than the Y. I quite like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] and [name_u]Jory[/name_u], too.

I love [name_u]Remy[/name_u]. The others, not so much. I find [name_u]Rory[/name_u] difficult to say, and it’s become unisex. I grew up with guys named [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] and I always thought of it as effeminate. [name_u]Jory[/name_u] is ok, but sounds too much like jury. [name_u]Marley[/name_u], [name_m]Wiley[/name_m] and [name_f]Indy[/name_f] belong in the Best Names for Dogs list.

I like [name_m]Wiley[/name_m] best!

I also like sound-alike [name_u]Kiley[/name_u], [name_u]Bailey[/name_u], [name_m]Daley[/name_m], [name_u]Darcy[/name_u], [name_u]Darby[/name_u], and [name_u]Toby[/name_u] in this style.

I love [name_u]Remy[/name_u] for a boy but it’s sadly my husband’s least favorite of my list. Other soft -y boy names I like:

[name_m]Wesley[/name_m]
[name_u]Bradley[/name_u]
[name_u]Jody[/name_u]
[name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_u]Cary[/name_u]
[name_m]Zachary[/name_m]
[name_u]Leslie[/name_u]
[name_u]Casey[/name_u]
[name_u]Ashley[/name_u]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]

A lot of these have sadly gotten more popular for girls, but I still vastly prefer them for boys.

I think [name_u]Toby[/name_u] is perfect so a soft sounding name.
[name_u]Rory[/name_u] is lovely
[name_f]Indy[/name_f] seems like a girl name
[name_u]Jamie[/name_u] is cute, fits the soft sound you’re looking for
[name_u]Jory[/name_u] is interesting. I’ve never heard it but I really like it
[name_u]Marley[/name_u] sounds too much like a dog name for me
[name_u]Remy[/name_u] is a good choice but i like it better as a nn for [name_u]Remington[/name_u]
[name_m]Wiley[/name_m] is odd. I don’t like the sound of it

I voted for [name_u]Rory[/name_u] but I also really like [name_u]Marley[/name_u]. [name_u]Jamie[/name_u] and [name_u]Remy[/name_u] are great names too!
