[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries!! So I’m in love with the name [name_m]Solomon[/name_m], but my last name is [name_m]Smith[/name_m]. What are your thoughts? I’m not fan of same letter initials, but I don’t know that it bothers me here.
[name_f]My[/name_f] other option is [name_u]Declan[/name_u].
[name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is very handsome! [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] is nice, I think the alliteration makes it memorable.
Personally, I really love [name_u]Declan[/name_u], so I prefer it to [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. You should go with whichever one you love more though!
I like it! I don’t think the alliteration is a problem, [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] sounds fine to me. I prefer [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] to [name_u]Declan[/name_u] anyway so that’s my favourite! But both are nice.
I think [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] is great! It’s strong yet sweet to me! I think it’s one good example of same letter initials done right!
I love [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] and think it sounds great with [name_m]Smith[/name_m]! I rarely find alliterated names an issue. It usually makes the name for memorable!
I really like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m]. Such a strong, handsome underused name. And the nns [name_u]Sol[/name_u] & [name_m]Solly[/name_m] are adorable. I don’t mind the alliteration w/Solomon [name_m]Smith[/name_m] as far as the esses go, but the double ‘s’ sound & the double ‘m’ sound might be a bit much. If it’s your absolute super favorite I’d say it’s not a deal breaker. But if you like [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] & [name_u]Declan[/name_u] equally (I kind of do!), I’d let the fact that [name_u]Declan[/name_u] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] sounds way better be a deciding factor.
I have S last name and named our first son [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] as well! We love the name and meaning.
Many call him [name_u]Solo[/name_u], [name_m]Solly[/name_m]-bear, [name_m]Solly[/name_m]:)
It’s a great name!
100%
Solomon is nice! I’ve always preferred it as a middle because I don’t really like any of its nicknames. But I do like it as a name. I think [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] [name_m]Smith[/name_m] is fine; I have no issues with alliteration myself, but have always hesitated with SS alliteration due to the military branch in Nazi [name_m]Germany[/name_m]. I have a feeling I’m the only one to make that connection, though, so I don’t put too much credence into that concern.
Declan is a huge favorite, so I’m inclined to prefer that, but love that [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is much more unexpected with how popular [name_m]Smith[/name_m] is. I honestly think [name_u]Declan[/name_u] [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] would be a cool combo, though?
Solomon [name_m]Smith[/name_m] sounds great! The first and last name flow very well together. [name_m]Solomon[/name_m] is a very handsome name, I wish I would see/hear it more.
