I’m pretty new to nameberry, so sorry if this is common knowledge. [name_m]How[/name_m] come some names are hyperlinked to their own page, while others aren’t? The name “[name_m]Gabe[/name_m]” for example is here on the site and has its own page, but when I add it to a list the name is black, not blue/hyperlinked like the other boy names. These names also don’t appear in their respective boy/girl name lists by alphabet, so how would we know they’re here unless we’re already looking for them?
Also mildly off topic, but how can you choose to make a name in a list yellow for gender neutral? When I click on a unisex name it only gives me the option of the boy or girl pages, not to link it from a specifically unisex page. Or does that even matter?
Thanks!
When the names do not have a comment or info on the page, they do not link from your list.
Unfortunately, I do not know the reason for this. Names that are variations of others are usually victim to this.
Also, there are no unisex name pages. Each unisex name has a boy page and a girl page. I wish we could put them in yellow on our lists! I like some on both but don’t want it on my list twice.
Thanks! As for the yellow names, is there a way to request to change that? I’ll start a campaign
