Some names that have come and gone off your list.

Here is a list of names that have been sitting on the sidelines. We like them but haven’t seriously discussed using them. Or our opinons of them have changed from week to week.

Please tell me your loves, likes and dislikes? And please share your list. And the next poster can love, like or dislike your list.

my list

[name]Bennett[/name] - Its okay, though I think it would seem fresher on a girl than a boy
[name]Quinn[/name] - as pp said, love for both boys and girls
[name]Harper[/name] - can’t use, and way too popular for my taste
[name]Lucy[/name] - I don’t mind it, but I’m not generally a fan of short names, and I don’t love any longer versions
[name]Greta[/name] - Its okay
[name]Audrey[/name] - not a big fan, kind of plain to me

[name]Wylda[/name] - Not my style, but I kind of like it
[name]Alba[/name] - love
Everild - hmmm…another one I’ve never seen, I think I prefer [name]Ever[/name] or [name]Everly[/name] though

[name]Isidore[/name] - Makes me think of LOTR
[name]Odhran[/name] - not sure I can get behind this one
[name]Tyr[/name] - great namesake from Norse mythology

My list of ones that come and go:

[name]Bennett[/name] - Nice on a boy, but not really my style.
[name]Quinn[/name] - I like it. I prefer [name]Winn[/name]/[name]Wynn[/name](if it’s for a girl)
[name]Harper[/name] - As long as it’s on a girl.
[name]Lucy[/name] - Pretty. Over-popular in the UK.
[name]Greta[/name] - See [name]Mary[/name] (I really shouldn’t have worked my way up this list!)
[name]Audrey[/name] - See [name]Mary[/name].
[name]Mary[/name] - I’ve always been on the sidelines with this name. I want to love it, but I can’t. I’d love to meet a little girl named [name]Mary[/name] though!
[name]Alice[/name] - Gorgeous!
[name]Isla[/name] - Nice. Would have some pn problems in the states, but fairly well-known here in the UK.
[name]Matilda[/name] - [name]Lovely[/name]! I prefer the spelling [name]Mathilda[/name] though.
[name]Julia[/name] - Pretty and timeless.
[name]Elise[/name] - It’s OK.
