Some New Considerations - Your Opinions?

[name]Hi[/name] All.

Thanks so much for your help on my previous threads. We have now discarded a few names on our original shortlist for our second baby, and have added a few new names into the mix. Our DD is named [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Clara[/name].

The names from our original list which are staying are:

[name]Lucy[/name]
[name]Eva[/name]
[name]Esme[/name]
[name]Alice[/name]

However, these new names have come onto our radar and we were wondering if we could have some opinions on them:

[name]Annelise[/name]
[name]Luna[/name]
[name]Lilia[/name]
[name]Talullah[/name]
[name]Elora[/name]
[name]Camille[/name]

Thanks in advance for any replies!

[name]Annelise[/name] has to be my favorite from your bottom list. I’ve tossed it around a couple times for my own little one. I’m not a huge fan of any at the top…so I won’t weigh in at all on those.

[name]Camille[/name] is also a very pretty name. I think that’s my second fave from the list.

I’ve seen that [name]Talullah[/name] is becoming more and more popular…I just can’t love it. The other three are just okay [name]IMO[/name]…and it’s just that, my opinion, worth about 2 cents

Thank you for sharing your opinion

[name]IMO[/name], of the bottom list I love the name Elora - it’s really pretty and a name I hadn’t come across. I do like Annelise(although I prefer Annalisemore). Not a huge fan of the other listed names though…

[name]Camille[/name] goes so well with [name]Amelie[/name] since they are both French and have -e endings ( with different sounds which helps them not be too similar).
I like your other names but none fit as well as [name]Camille[/name]. Unfortunately I am not sure your other names would work well as middles since they mostly have L in them and then the combo gets L heavy. [name]Camille[/name] [name]Eva[/name] would work though.

I like [name]Luna[/name], [name]Elora[/name], and [name]Camille[/name] of your new names. [name]Annelise[/name] always sounds close to “analyze” to me, [name]Lilia[/name] feels a bit like a generic liquid L-name to me, and I do think that [name]Tallulah[/name] is becoming trendy (and also quite a contrast to demure [name]Amelie[/name] [name]Clara[/name].)
[name]Lucy[/name] [name]Elora[/name]
[name]Esme[/name] [name]Luna[/name]
[name]Alice[/name] [name]Camille[/name]

[name]Annelise[/name] - I like it spelled [name]Anneliese[/name] and pronounced the [name]German[/name] way ah-nuh-[name]LEE[/name]-zuh.
[name]Luna[/name] - one of my favorites
[name]Lilia[/name] - very pretty but [name]Lily[/name] is too popular and I wouldn’t use it because she will get called [name]Lili[/name] a lot probably
[name]Tallulah[/name] - just a bit silly to me
[name]Elora[/name] - always liked this but it lacks substance or something
[name]Camille[/name] - very pretty.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Annelise[/name] and [name]Luna[/name]. Have to agree with the previous poster that Tallualah sounds kind of silly to me, sorry!
