Rhyming with [name]Melody[/name], because I think that is how it’s pronounced in English. I like the French pronunciation better though.

Really pretty feminine name, one of my favourites
[name]How[/name] do YOU pronounce it?
[name]EL[/name] la dee, rhymes with [name]Melody[/name] (I’m English if that makes a difference) The ONLY thing that puts me off this name is that it sounds a little like you’re just saying the letters L-O-D. Maybe that’s just me being weird though, I still think it’s pretty

[name]Lucky[/name] baby to have such a beautiful name (and slightly jealous of the mum for having a baby called this )

What do you think are some good [name]Elodie[/name] combos?
Some of my favorites (I tend to pair it with other French names)
I actually babysit a four-year-old [name]Elodie[/name]. She has no French background (as far as I know) and pronounces her name to rhyme with [name]Melody[/name], which I think is much more realistic in the US than the more authentic eh-loh-[name]DEE[/name]. I think it’s lovely and definitely usable, and I can see an [name]Elodie[/name] of any age, baby or adult. Combos:
