Soon to be aunt, needs help!

Hello, I’m new here, but have used this site before, and my older sister recently found out the sex of the baby she is expecting, female, all three(!) of them. My eldest sister isn’t very creative, and neither am I but she requested that my other sister and I each to name one of the girls she is expecting. She would like them to match, but not to be too matchy-matchy. She has decided on Arabell for the eldest. And my other sister and i both need help naming the other two. Any help would be much appreciated.

  • Other information that may be helpful-- Her last name is Mathas- The children are expected in February- The middle of the eldest will be [name_f]Maria[/name_f]. -No specific parameters, just a name that goes well with Arabell

Thank you,
[name_f]Nicole[/name_f] S.

Has she given you any parameters? Are there any other names you know she likes so we can get an idea in terms of style? I like Arabell [name_f]Maria[/name_f].

Hello! That’s lovely to be so close with your sister. I’m close with mine, and I helped her name my niece.

I love the name Arabell, but I think it looks unfinished without the ‘e’. [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] is a cleaner, more familiar spelling. [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f] is a stunning name! It has a nice romantic appeal, and it’s also on-trend. I think that it’s probably best to go with a name that doesn’t start with ‘A’ or end with an ‘el’ sound.

I prefer [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] over Arabell as well. I think names like [name_f]Georgiana[/name_f] and [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] would go well with [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f].

I agree with pp, I like [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] spelling. Arabell looks unfinished. I love [name_f]Arabelle[/name_f] [name_f]Maria[/name_f].
