This is not uncommon in Greece. It’s just an update on the shortening of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] to Fi ([name_f]Sophia[/name_f], Fi, [name_f]Effie[/name_f]). What do people think of it?
It’s not intuitive, but it could work!
Cute! It adds a flair to the name.
It’s no less intuitive than [name_f]Effie[/name_f] being a nn for [name_f]Euphemia[/name_f] and is likely to be less common nn choice than [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]. See if it suits her!
Not intuitive, but absolutely works!
Sophia nn [name_f]Effy[/name_f] is inspired and interesting
I think it works! People will probably instinctively call her [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], but I like [name_f]Effie[/name_f] with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]!
I like it! Reminds me of The Sisterhood of the Travelling Pants
