I prefer [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] over [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] both style-wise and yes, [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] would be too common for me currently. [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] is a very strong sounding combo, I dig that.

I dislike [name_u]Quinn[/name_u]. I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] though so my preference would be [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. If your daughter wishes to stop using [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] because it is too popular, which is always a possibility, she can go by [name_f]Margaret[/name_f] which is as much her name as [name_f]Sophia[/name_f].
