[name_f]My[/name_f] babygirl is almost here and we’ve been set on naming her [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. But while in the shower, [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] came to my mind and we love it just as much!
Vote to help us decide! Thank you.
Both names are lovely. I guess it depends on what vibe you’re going for. [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] sounds very soft, flowy, and classy while [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] sounds very sassy, daring, and adventurous. It’s hard for me to pick a favorite because I love the alliteration of [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. However, I do think that the double S sound makes [name_u]Sage[/name_u] lose a bit of it’s power and uniqueness. [name_f]Sofia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u], on the other hand, is super powerful and unique but I worry that the middle name, [name_u]Fox[/name_u], overpowers the name [name_f]Sofia[/name_f]. The good news is that you have two great options so you can’t make a bad choice. Good luck!
i’ll agree with the posters above and say Sophia Sage - Sophia Fox seems a bit mismatched and also a little stage-namey, whereas Sophia Sage is a lovely combo!
Another vote for [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! I love the alliteration, you’ve loved it longer, and it seems sweeter. [name_u]Fox[/name_u] is just too out-there for my taste, unless it’s a family surname.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is amazing! I like [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] but there’s just something a bit off about it, and I’m not sure what.
Since [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] means wisdom, sage seems redundant. I’d go with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] (of course, foxes are sage creatures - she will be a smart girl!).
[name_f]My[/name_f] vote is for [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u]! [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] and [name_u]Sage[/name_u] are both lovely names. The alliteration is made sweet by the different vowel sounds. I wouldn’t think of the double wisdom meaning first, but I like it!
[name_u]Fox[/name_u] is such a fun middle, but the repeated f sounds are a little much to my ear.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] is a lovely name really pretty and I think she sounds lovely with [name_u]Sage[/name_u]. Overall the name is so feminine and vibrant with the gorgeous overall meaning of ‘wisdom’
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] Fox!! [name_u]Sage[/name_u] isn’t really my thing, but I love [name_u]Fox[/name_u] with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f]!
I actually love the sound of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Fox[/name_u] but my vote still goes to [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u], both because I love the name [name_u]Sage[/name_u] and because [name_u]Fox[/name_u] does ultimately have connotations that you’re not intending (I imagine). Not that the connotation is necessarily bad but still, it’s there. I think I’d go for [name_u]Fox[/name_u] if it were a family name or something but if not, then I think [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_u]Sage[/name_u] is perfect.
