I’m changing my name to Sophia next week and super excited about that, but still not 100% sure on my middle name.
I was playing around with different sort of vintage feeling names, but I’ve now narrowed it down to Sophia Vivienne or Sophia Evelyn.
I don’t want both because they sound too similar together and I just want 2 names.
Vivienne was my initial choice because it’s just so pretty! I don’t think I can go wrong with that one. My family does mispronounce it, but they could learn if they just put in a little bit of effort. Atm they’re not willing to do that.
Evelyn came as a suggestion from people online as an alternative to Vivienne. My family and friends like this one more and don’t mispronounce it. I like it as much as Vivienne now so I don’t mind going with this one, but I have a few concerns and just want to know which one you guys prefer because don’t know which is prettier.
It a problem that my surname also starts with an E like Evelyn?
Another thing is that people in my country can’t pronounce the nickname Evie (they’d say it like Evvy), which is why I just wouldn’t use it. I think I could use Lin or Lina though, or do you guys think that’d be too far-fetched? I’m not sure I’ll ever go by my middle name, let alone a nickname of it, but just in case I do at some point.
my preference is [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], but you really can’t go wrong with either! [name_f]Vivi[/name_f] or [name_f]Vivia[/name_f] are such cute nicknames. my best advice is go with your gut!! sometimes your initial instinct is the best. good luck <3
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] - elegant, sleek, and pretty! Plus, you’re middle name isn’t said too often, so it’s not as if you’ll hear it mispronounced all the time.
[name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] is good too, I just like [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] better
[name_f]My[/name_f] preference is also [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]! Years ago I had [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] on my list, I still love that pairing a lot.
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] is beautiful but doesn’t feel as memorable given how popular [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] & [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] both are in my country right now.
I think [name_f]Lina[/name_f] is fine for [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f], or even something like [name_f]Ella[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]?
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]. I find [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] more stylishly charming and fashionable and artistic and it goes better with [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] visually and by sound
[name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] for sure. It flows much nicer, the a and e in [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] don’t sound right next to each other in my opinion.
I prefer [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]! (I love the name Vivienne) The end of [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] runs into the beginning of [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f], so the flow isn’t as good.
I prefer [name_f]Evelyn[/name_f] but for you, [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] sounds like your love! How are they mispronouncing [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]? I haven’t heard it mispronounced before I was thinking I would be more concerned with the multiple spelling possibilities
