Sophiana or Sofiana... What do you think?

What are your thoughts on Sophiana/Sofiana? I think it sounds pretty, and Sofiane is a legit name, but does this sound to made up or smooshed together?

What about [name]Sophronia[/name]?

Honestly, it sounds like someone wanted to stand out from the uber popular [name]Sophia[/name] and frilled it up a bit. I don’t like it.
I’d rather Sofiane.

I agree, it sounds kind of made up to me. Sofiane is pretty.

[name]Sophronia[/name] is a great recommendation though.

ehh, it sounds very on trend and a little too much frill for me.

[name]Sofia[/name]/[name]Sophia[/name] is a beauty on its own, no need to add a different ending.

This topic came up awhile back and I had never heard of Sophiana/Sofiana until then but I have met a few Muslim guys named Sophiane/Sofiane and I’m really not sure what to think about Sophiana/Sofiana but I can tell you it doesn’t sound smooshed to me and I like it.

In case you want to know more about the name as far as I can tell like Sophiane, it also seems to be Arabic and used mainly by Muslims but it seems like Greeks use it too. I came across a few sites with both boys and girls with the name so I would look into it more if you seriously consider it. Good [name]Luck[/name]!

these sound made up to me. [name]Serafina[/name] has the same appeal as maybe what you are going for?

I agree, [name]Serafina[/name] or [name]Sophronia[/name] are more appealing. Sofiana sounds like a smoosh. Putting [name]Sofia[/name] and [name]Ana[/name] together takes away from the beauty of both.

I prefer [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name]. First came across that from [name]True[/name] Blood. Also prefer [name]Seraphina[/name], [name]Sephora[/name], [name]Sapphira[/name] or [name]Sophronia[/name], as Sophiana does sound a little made up.

Ditto. Except, I’ve never hear Sofiane either. Is it a girl’s name? Something about it seems slightly masculine actually, though I can’t put my finger on what. If you want that sound, I’d prefer [name]Sophie[/name]-[name]Anne[/name].
