[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! Congratulations! Your list has some different styles and there are some great choices here! If by trendy you mean a name that won’t seem dated in the future, here are my thoughts.
[name_f]Violet[/name_f]- [name_f]Violet[/name_f] is popular but I wouldn’t call it trendy, it is a floral, vintage, classic
[name_f]Noelle[/name_f]- This is very pretty, but it feels kind of dated to me
[name_f]Florence[/name_f]- I love this choice because it has history yet has been in the attic for awhile so it feels fresh, plus you get the nns [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Flossie[/name_f]
[name_u]Emery[/name_u]- [name_u]Emery[/name_u] feels very trendy to me, it sounds similar to names hot right now such as [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_u]Everly[/name_u], I do love surnames on girls though, my name is one
Meridian- Woah, this one kind of comes out of nowhere compared to your other choices! I have never thought of this as a name and it has a pretty rhythm. If you want something more traditional I would go with [name_u]Meredith[/name_u] or [name_u]Marian[/name_u]
[name_f]Marine[/name_f]- I don’t have a strong reaction either way on this one.
I love [name_f]Florence[/name_f] and [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! I think your criteria the best because they will age well with your daughter in a timeless manner.
Thanks, kashed22, for your thoughtful reply!
@vox84 That is so funny about [name_u]Emery[/name_u] to me personally because my mom gave me her maiden name, [name_u]Blair[/name_u] right in the early 80s when the tv show “Facts of Life” started which was a total coincidence. With it being your maiden name it gives me a new perspective on [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. If it has meaning to you and you love it I would use it, trends be damned.
I love [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] and [name_u]Emery[/name_u]. I think these two are perfect, as they are original, fun, and not too common. The others don’t match up, but that’s just my opinion. Good luck
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]!
Based on your criteria, I would recommend [name_f]Violet[/name_f] or [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. I personally prefer [name_f]Violet[/name_f]! I think [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would stand out more though since [name_f]Violet[/name_f] ranked #50 last year while [name_f]Florence[/name_f] wasn’t in the top 1000 (in the US).
[name_f]Violet[/name_f] & [name_f]Florence[/name_f] are sophisticated.
[name_u]Emery[/name_u] is already trendy & overdone; use it as a mn or for a boy’s fn
I love [name_f]Violet[/name_f] and [name_f]Florence[/name_f]. Perhaps you would consider [name_f]Flora[/name_f] too? It’s a fresh spin on [name_f]Florence[/name_f] but is still beautiful, in my opinion
