I voted for [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Maeve[/name], but [name]Celia[/name] was very close behind. I think [name]Claire[/name] is a bit of a filler middle name, and it doesn’t really freshen [name]Madeleine[/name] up the way the others do. [name]Estelle[/name] is pretty, but doesn’t have the best flow. You really can’t go wrong, though!

I voted for [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] because I think it has the best flow. I wish it were [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Cecilia[/name] instead of just [name]Celia[/name] because I feel that sounds better. [name]Claire[/name] is rather boring and filler-y and since there are bound to be multiple [name]Madeleine[/name]'s around your daughter, she should have a stand-out middle name. You’d be surprised at how many times I heard this from [name]Caitlin[/name]'s, [name]Ashley[/name]'s and [name]Christina[/name]'s: “Your middle name is [name]Marie[/name]!? Mine too!” Ohhhh no way, crazy! [name]Clara[/name] is less common and sounds lovely with [name]Madeleine[/name] (with whatever pronunciation you’re using), I don’t like double letter sounds, so your surname eliminates it for me.

Other middle names you may like:
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Rosetta[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Fiona[/name]

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Aurora[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Cecile[/name]
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celeste[/name]

I love the flow of [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celia[/name].

Okay, [name]Elsie[/name], it’s time to get excited about [name]Madeleine[/name]! Yay, [name]Madeleine[/name]!

I actually think I like all of these - [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Claire[/name], [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celia[/name], [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Clara[/name], etc. - but I’m choosing [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] because I think it 1) is nice to continue the alliteration that you set up with [name]Gaby[/name]'s name, and 2) sets her apart from other [name]Madeleine[/name]'s because [name]Maeve[/name] is such an unusual choice! It’s really a unique, energetic, fun name!

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Mariel[/name] would be fun, too - I saw that name a few posts up, yeah?

[name]Lemon[/name]

voted for [name]Maeve[/name] for the same reasons [name]Lemon[/name] did

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celia[/name] is basically a tie for me though. I love that combination!

I just picked [name]Celia[/name] b/c I thought [name]Cecilia[/name] was too long. Truthfully, I’d like to keep her middle name at 1-2 syllables since her first name is 3.

I think [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] has the best flow of them all!

[name]Lemon[/name], I’m trying to get excited. Also trying to get used to the nickname [name]Elle[/name] or [name]Ellie[/name] instead of [name]Maddie[/name]! Not sure if it’s working out though…since we’ve been thinking about naming her [name]Madeleine[/name] for a few months, and ppl at work always call her “[name]Maddie[/name],” it’s almost habit to call her that! Surprising, already. We’ll see what happens.

Ok, I just have to ask you guys what you think about [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Poppy[/name]…I just freakin love the name [name]Poppy[/name]! [name]Do[/name] you think it’s too “trendy” right now? What do you think of it with [name]Gabriella[/name] [name]Grace[/name]?

Congratulations elsiekutz!
You’re the one who my boyfriend is secretly married to

I love [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Claire[/name] and [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celia[/name] best. [name]Both[/name] [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] make [name]Madeleine[/name] sound more sophisticated.

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Claire[/name]: [name]Even[/name] though [name]Claire[/name] is used so often as a middle name, I still like it, and it sounds wonderful with [name]Madeleine[/name]. I picture a [name]Claire[/name] as a very intelligent, well grounded girl/woman who knows what she wants. This goes well with [name]Madeleine[/name], since [name]Madeleine[/name] sounds more playful.

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Celia[/name]: I love the name [name]Celia[/name], and it’s not common at all- if you’re looking for something less common than [name]Madeleine[/name]. I read in one of your posts that you’re a little bit unsure about how you feel re [name]Madeleine[/name]'s popularity. [name]Celia[/name] is classy, sophisticated, and feminine.

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] doesn’t flow as well to me.
[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Maeve[/name]: cute alliteration, but as a stand alone name, I like [name]Celia[/name] and [name]Claire[/name] better. I’ve never known a [name]Maeve[/name], so I have no associations with it.

LOL…yes, fun, isn’t it?! I’ll have to check on your thread to see how you’re doing!!

I agree with the previous poster that [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Estelle[/name] doesn’t have perfect flow. Something about it is just off to me, but I can’t really put my finger on it! I know you like it, though. I still think a shorter middle name, as you said, would be best considering her longer first name. [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Maeve[/name] Kutzner has that wow factor for me, personally.

[name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] is simply adorable! [name]Poppy[/name]'s one of those flower names that packs a punch in a small package - she’s like [name]Zinnia[/name] with less syllables, right? - but she still has substance and strength, more so than maybe a [name]Lily[/name] might. I wouldn’t say [name]Madeleine[/name] [name]Poppy[/name] is trendy. Yes, flower names are more popular nowadays, but I like to call that “on trend” rather than “trendy.” Subtle difference, but it makes me happier! Ha. I like her with [name]Gabriella[/name] [name]Grace[/name], too…

[name]Lemon[/name]

PS I don’t think [name]Maddie[/name] is a bad nickname at all, honestly. It’s kind of cute in the same way [name]Gaby[/name] is! Spunky and fun, slightly feminine but not too frilly. It’s a good one! If [name]Ellie[/name] doesn’t catch on, as it might not, would you really hate to have a [name]Maddie[/name]? I know [name]Maddie[/name] is popular, but it’s not a bad nickname is all I’m saying…
