I love the sound of it. Could even go for the longer [name]Eleanor[/name] to get nn [name]Nola[/name]. But I’m bit afraid people will be thinking New Orleans, [name]Louisiana[/name]. wdyt? too much?
I had the same problem when I fell in love with [name]Graham[/name] [name]Christopher[/name]. DH told me it was too close to graham cracker lol
I didn’t think of New Orleans until you pointed it out to be honest. Now that you did, I can’t stop thinking about it haha! Regardless though, [name]Nola[/name] is super cute! I think using [name]Eleanor[/name] would eliminate that connection, or you could just not mention it. Same goes with [name]Graham[/name] [name]Christopher[/name]. Girl, you are just thinking way too much into it!
I like [name]Nola[/name] and I like [name]Louise[/name] (I’m assuming you meant [name]Louise[/name] and not Lousie?). They flow together rather awkwardly – the “lou” sound immediately after “la”. If that doesn’t bother you, go for it
[name]Nola[/name] is super cute! Doesn’t make my think of New Orleans at all. But, um, is the middle name [name]Louise[/name] or Lousie? I like [name]Louise[/name] but Lousie looks like lousy.
I wouldn’t have made the connection if you hadn’t have said it. I think [name]Nola[/name] is a very pretty name, as is [name]Louise[/name]. I like [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Louise[/name] nn [name]Nola[/name].
I wouldn’t have made the connection either. I think [name]Nola[/name] is cute but it kinda makes me think Granola. If you love it don’t let what I think stop you though!
I have a niece named [name]Eleanor[/name] and she is called [name]Ellie[/name], in case you are thinking of other nn possibilities.
I still kind of fail to see the connection between New Orleans and [name]Nola[/name] [name]Louise[/name]. Is it because they sound sort of similar? Anyway, I don’t think it’s a problem at all. I like [name]Nola[/name], though [name]Eleanor[/name] is great too.
I don’t think it’s too New Orleans, but I like the la in [name]Nola[/name] and the L in [name]Louise[/name] make for a tongue twister. I’d go with [name]Eleanor[/name] [name]Louise[/name] and call her [name]Nola[/name].
