My husband and I are trying to decide on a Spanish boy name for our second son. My husband is Argentinian and we live in South [name_u]America[/name_u], so that fact plus the fact that our last name is súper Spanish is the reason why we’re sticking with a Spanish name rather than anything from my Scottish/Dutch heritage. Our son’s name is Joaquín [name_u]Francis[/name_u]. For our second son I recently discovered the name [name_m]Artemio[/name_m], which I think is really beautiful and the male version of my favourite Greek goddess [name_u]Artemis[/name_u]. My husband isn’t entirely opposed to the name but feels it’s too old fashioned (which is another reason I like it). I tried researching opinions on the name, but apparently it’s so rare there are no thoughts. So what do you guys think? Another name I like is [name_m]Hugo[/name_m] (my husband’s father’s name), but I’m put off by how popular it is in English (and I don’t like the English pronunciation as much).
[name_m]Artemio[/name_m] is brilliant!!
[name_m]Rafael[/name_m] [name_m]Artemio[/name_m], [name_m]Artemio[/name_m] [name_u]Luca[/name_u], [name_m]Luis[/name_m] [name_m]Artemio[/name_m] and [name_m]Carlos[/name_m] [name_m]Artemio[/name_m] came to mind!
