Spanish-speaking Berries - Help!

My entire maternal side of the family speaks Spanish (as do I) and my husband’s family is entirely [name_m]French[/name_m] and they’ve been pointing out for years now that my children’s names only reflect one side of the heritage coin… And I do agree with them on that.

I would like to know more specifically what Spanish-speaking people think of the following names and if they can cross well between the languages and English. My favorite names for a baby boy are [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] and [name_m]Aleph[/name_m] and while the latter works perfectly without giving off too much of one side or the other, [name_u]Maurice[/name_u] is another story. [name_m]Mauricio[/name_m] just doesn’t appeal!

I appreciate any suggestions of names that you think sound fresh in Spanish and that would work internationally, as well as advice on how to go about choosing a name that reflects both sides.

Gracías!

Am really needing some good advice…
