Are there any personalized gifts you plan on getting once you have kids?

I haven’t gotten any kind of jewelry like that, and don’t plan on it, though if someone got a piece for me I’d likely wear it.
I do plan on getting a tattoo to symbolize motherhood, and might add her name & future children’s names to it when I’m more recovered from birth.
Her dad got her birthdate tattooed on him a few days after her birth
My husband is actually going to get [name]Persephone[/name]'s name tattooed on him today. He’s going to do it with all the kids. I want to get initials and fingerprints but I have to wait till her fingers are bigger for a good print.
I also wanted to get a personalized blanket but we ended up with like 30 blankets from out baby shower so I scrapped it. It did find lots of clothes with her name on them at cafepress.com and I want to get some of them.

My daughter has her name on her bedroom wall, and she has some blankets & toys with her name on them too. She also has a backpack with her name on it but she doesn’t use that much as she’s only 1.5, she just puts spare clothes in it to take to her childminders.
As for me, I have a necklace with her name on that my husband brought me but I don’t wear it often because my DD tends to pull at them if I’ve got hold of her so I don’t want to risk it getting broken!
There’s a website I saw called Vintage [name]Pearl[/name] that does all kinds of hand stamped jewellery, so you can get a child’s name, birth date, etc. They have stuff for men too (mostly cufflinks and dog tags). It’s all quite pretty.
As for tattoos, I like the idea, but I’m way too chicken!

I keep going back and forth on tattoos with kids names! But seeing as I love ink, I will probably get some sort of tattoo to for my kid(s)
I would definitely add to my tattoo collection (I love the fingerprint idea dantea!) in addition to maybe a birthstone ring I could pass on it would have to be gold due to my metal allergy. Mind you, I hate my birthstone so who knows, maybe its better to go with small diamonds or no stones at all.
I have a hand stamped necklace with my firsts nane on it and his birthstone. The company went out of business though so I’m looking for a new one I like with all soon to be 3 kids names. I do plan on getting a tattoo for them though its more symbolic than straight forward like names or foot prints.

I have a key chain with [name]Patrick[/name]'s name on it and a picture of a little boy. I’d like to get one with [name]Mary[/name] on it but I haven’t found them anywhere. I figure soon I’ll have to take [name]Patrick[/name]'s off so [name]Mary[/name] isn’t left out. I don’t wear jewelry frequently so this made more sense to me then a necklace. At some point I’d like something with all my children’s birthstones and perhaps names. But I’m going to wait until I’m done having children and then hopefully will get one as a gift. I’ve told my that I don’t want anything until we’re done so it can include all of the children.
I am scared of needles so no tattoos here.
I’m planning on sewing birth samplers for each of my children. Apart from that, I don’t know. But definitely no tattoos!

I never really thought about it before but I might get some name necklaces now 
I framed my daughter’s birth announcement and my husband got a tattoo of a Cupie [name]Doll[/name] which is something we used to call our daughter & is also fairly common in classic style tattoos…I am not a tattoo person, but I’ve considered getting a lion to symbolize my daughter’s name meaning. I also found these really neat 1930’s flashcards with the ABCs on them and plan to frame my daughter’s name up at some point. But now I’m considering doing a theme room, so that might be more of an on-the-door thing if I can figure that out. We have done a lot of lion stuff for [name]Leonie[/name].
I am not that into our shared birthstone or mom jewelry in general. I have to look into if there’s anything out there with interesting designs. I would get a letter L necklace for sure. I’ve seen some cute stuff like that. They have letter rings at Catbird in [name]Brooklyn[/name] that are really sweet & dainty.
