[name]How[/name] would you spell the name [name]Layla[/name]? Other than the way I just did :). Also too trendy or classic pretty?
I would spell it as [name]Layla[/name]… I think that’s the correct way… I like [name]Layla[/name]
My favorite spelling is [name]Leila[/name], so pretty!!
Definately [name]Layla[/name]! I love it, in fact it used to me my #1 name. I still adore it though!
I’ve seen it spelled as [name]Layla[/name] and as [name]Laila[/name]. Not sure which one is the original spelling.
I’ve seen it as [name]Layla[/name] and [name]Leila[/name], but I prefer [name]Layla[/name]. It looks prettier to me, and I think people would spell it correctly more often than [name]Leila[/name].
There really isn’t an “original” spelling since the name doesn’t originate in English and there aren’t Arabic equivalents to our letters.
I like [name]Laila[/name] or [name]Leila[/name], personally.
I like [name]Leila[/name], personally. [name]Even[/name] if, as @flick mentioned, there isn’t an official original spelling, I’ve heard so many times that [name]Leila[/name] is the traditional spelling that it just looks most “right” to me, and least trendy. I absolutely love [name]Leila[/name]!
I like [name]Layla[/name], then [name]Laila[/name]. [name]Leila[/name] to me looks like [name]Leela[/name], and I knew a girl whose name was spelled [name]Leila[/name] and prnd [name]Leela[/name], which I do not like, sounds like [name]Leland[/name]. Blech. I think you’d have a lot less prn problems with [name]Layla[/name] or [name]Laila[/name].
I like Leighla . It sounds classy and looks pretty =)
Thank you all so much for the suggestions have not decided between [name]Layla[/name] or [name]Laila[/name]. I agree [name]Leila[/name] is so pretty to ready but may have pn problems. So next question what do you think about the name [name]Layla[/name] Harvest? Flow well?
I agree 100% with this. ‘[name]Leila[/name]’ looks quite nice, but I’d rather stick with [name]Layla[/name]/[name]Laila[/name] and avoid any unnecessary pron issues.
Leighla looks horrible to me, and I think it would be mispronounced as [name]Leela[/name] all the time.
I like [name]Leila[/name] better.
