Which spelling do you prefer?
Would you pronounce them the same?

I love [name]Caspar[/name]! The [name]Casper[/name] spelling just looks misspelled to me, like [name]Aiden[/name] instead of [name]Aidan[/name]. 
I think they both come out sounding the same, but in my head, I say it more like [name]PER[/name] vs. [name]PAR[/name], [name]Caspar[/name] has a more open (and less trendy!) feel about it. I think of vaulted ceilings in an opera house when I think of [name]Caspar[/name], as opposed to [name]Casper[/name], which I think of like a little mouse’s den (like in [name]Tom[/name] and [name]Jerry[/name]! hahaha). I don’t know if that makes sense.
I do love the name, a lot. My best friend had triplets in 2010, and [name]Caspar[/name] was her third choice. She passed away in 2011, so [name]Caspar[/name] (and [name]Gaspard[/name]) were very meaningful to her, and I’ve considered them in honor of her, especially since we met because of our shared interest in names. I can’t really see me with a [name]Caspar[/name], but I love it as a MN. I can see you with a [name]Caspar[/name], though, and how amazing would Vitalia, [name]Laurel[/name], and [name]Caspar[/name] be? I love it!

What an incredibly tragic story about your friend. Triplets one year and then passed away the next? I’m so very sorry to hear that. I think using [name]Caspar[/name] or [name]Gaspard[/name] in the mn spot to honor her would be really special.

I think [name]Caspar[/name] is a little less “friendly ghost.” I like it!
I think it depends on how you want to pronounce it, [name]Casper[/name] to me rhymes with [name]Jasper[/name] an ‘er’ sound while [name]Caspar[/name] I would be inclined to pronounce it like [name]Cas[/name]-[name]Par[/name] (rhymes with ‘are’ or 'arr matey 
you get the idea) though I know they could both be pronounced with the ‘er’ sound
