Spelling help

I’d like to honor two grandmas ([name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Joanne[/name_f]) in one name. Would you use [name_f]Luanne[/name_f], since it seems like the most traditional spelling, even if you intend to primarily use the nn [name_u]Lou[/name_u]? Or [name_f]Louanne[/name_f]? Or [name_f]LouAnne[/name_f]? Already have a middle in mind, so just looking for opinions with this particular name. Thanks!

To honor [name_f]Louise[/name_f] and [name_f]Joanne[/name_f], I think the spelling [name_f]Louanne[/name_f] makes sense if that’s what is most sentimental to you.

I would go with [name_f]Louanne[/name_f], as that’s the most seamless and obvious honor name. So quirky and vintage! I also like [name_f]Luanne[/name_f], but would avoid [name_f]LouAnne[/name_f] and the double capital.

I think [name_f]Louanne[/name_f] would be best for you. An obvious honor to [name_f]Louise[/name_f] & [name_f]Joanne[/name_f], and a lovely name that works well with your other children’s names.

I think either [name_f]Luanne[/name_f] or [name_f]Louanne[/name_f] work fine with the nickname [name_u]Lou[/name_u], so I’d choose whichever one feels right. Personally, I’d probably use [name_f]Louanne[/name_f], just because it’s literally a combination of the spellings, but I think people would assume it was [name_f]Luanne[/name_f] upon hearing the name.
