We are starting to try - YAY! If it’s a girl it’ll most likely be this name with the middle [name_f]Louise[/name_f] (my middle name). So with that being said. [name_f]Margo[/name_f], [name_f]Margot[/name_f], or [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]?!! Help
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is the only one that looks appealing to me. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] looks incomplete and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] has more letters than necessary imo.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is my favourite as well. It’s just the right balance. [name_f]Margo[/name_f] loses the [name_m]French[/name_m] and vintage vibe, feels more like a nickname for [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f] rather than a potential standalone. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f], on the other hand, would give everyone spelling issues, and the silent letters annoy my inner linguist.
I love the look of [name_f]Margot[/name_f].
I adore the spelling [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] but it might cause some issues in pronunciation. I’m sure that it’ll only take one correction though. I’d go with [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. Such a beautiful name!
I prefer [name_f]Margo[/name_f], with [name_f]Margot[/name_f] second. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] isn’t as common (where I live anyway) will have to spelled out a lot when making appointments, etc.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is my spelling of choice.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] is definitely my favourite. I agree with the previous poster who said [name_f]Margo[/name_f] seems incomplete and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] has an unnecessary amount of letters. [name_u]Love[/name_u] the look and sound of [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] is my favorite! [name_f]Margot[/name_f] reminds me too much of maggot and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is unnecessary. I’ve only known girls who spell it [name_f]Margo[/name_f] so that’s what seems easier to say and spell.
I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! [name_f]Margo[/name_f] looks incomplete to me, and I don’t think a lot of people will know how to spell or pronounce [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] (and isn’t it also the name of a wine? :/)
I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] would look nicest.
[name_f]Margot[/name_f] seems to be the form with the most use currently and thus would be more recognised these days, fitting into the vintage-revival trend. Due to that, [name_f]Margo[/name_f] then looks a little unfinished (and quite dated somehow) and [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] just looks unnecessarily complex and quite harsh to me.
Oh the joy of unnecessary letters - I love the look and spelling of [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] best, but this one is only for people who don’t mind spelling out and explaining. It wouldn’t worry me. Otherwise the most mainstream and expected version, [name_f]Margot[/name_f], is my 2nd choice.
Paired with [name_f]Louise[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] looks best
I think [name_f]Margot[/name_f] would be the best choice. It causes the least confusion. Whatever spelling you choose, the name is adorable!
Another vote for [name_f]Margot[/name_f]!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], though wouldn’t mind [name_f]Margo[/name_f]. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] is cool but probably more complex that I would want.
My favourite is [name_f]Margaux[/name_f], it makes me think of [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_m]Hemingway[/name_m] and for some reason it just appeals to me aesthetically.
Second for me is [name_f]Margot[/name_f], which I also really like but I dislike [name_f]Margo[/name_f], it seems unfinished…
[name_f]Margaux[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is a beautiful name (as is [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f])!
I’m currently planning to name my daughter, due very soon, [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] and love the combination [name_f]Amelie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]! I actually would have considered [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]/[name_f]Margot[/name_f] very seriously as a first name option for my daughter but unfortunately my partner vetoed it.
100% [name_f]Margaux[/name_f]! It looks so elegant and fancy.
[name_f]Margo[/name_f] looks unfinished to me, and [name_f]Margot[/name_f] makes me think of maggot.
I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. [name_f]Margaux[/name_f] seems over elaborate and complicated, and [name_f]Margo[/name_f] seems to be incomplete.
I love [name_f]Margot[/name_f]! [name_f]Margot[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] is perfect!
