Hm, I would probably go with Aidie to get correct pronunciation but [name_f]Adie[/name_f] would probably work. There’s also Aidy (like Aidy [name_m]Bryant[/name_m]).

I think they both convey your preferred pronunciation very well. =]

I’d have to say Aidie would have the better chance at not being mispronounced, though. [name_f]Adie[/name_f] could be mistaken for [name_f]Addie[/name_f].

You could also try Aydee or Aydie. There’s no mistaken with a Y there, lol!

My vote goes to [name_f]Adie[/name_f]. It just looks so feminine and faerie-like! Plus, I know of a woman named [name_f]Adrienne[/name_f] nn [name_f]Adie[/name_f] (the pronunciation you use), so I’m all for that. I’ve never looked at [name_f]Adie[/name_f] and thought, Oh. That’s [name_f]Addy[/name_f], right? Maybe it’s the association to this woman, though.

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Adie[/name_f], it’s the simpler spelling, and it looks like [name_f]Sadie[/name_f] without the S which is the best way to explain the nickname if someone should be confused by it.
[name_f]Glad[/name_f] to see you’re actually using this, I’ve been doting on [name_f]Adie[/name_f] for years, wondering what’s so great about another [name_f]Addie[/name_f] (especially in a sea of Maddies!)… [name_f]Adie[/name_f] is absolutely adorable ^^
