[name_m]Just[/name_m] recently I heard a little girls name and fell in love! Unfortunately, it was in a [name_m]French[/name_m] speaking town, and I am unsure of how you would spell it… the name is pronounced [name_f]Ell[/name_f]-o-wuh. Now I would assume that it would be spelled Éloa, but ideas and suggestions are welcomed 
It’d have been Éloa, you’re right. It’s the [name_m]French[/name_m] form of Eloah and Éloa is a poem, see below.

It is made clear that the stranger is Lucifer. He falls in love with the girl, but his own twisted notions of love prohibit him from returning the girl’s affection in a proper way. In the end, the girl is unable to help Lucifer and he drags her to hell with him. Even as she is falling, she does not know who he is until he tells her his name.
